I can't email my invoices to my cleints?

Hi everyone!

I understand how important for your business to email the transactions. Let me assist you.

You'll want to make sure that the email address you entered is correct. Open the transaction, edit the email address, then re-send it. If the email address is a business email, with its own domain, you'll want to reach out to your client or contractor to make sure there is no issue with their email server.

In addition, here are some steps you can do to fix browser errors that could be the reason for these undelivered emails.

  1. Use an incognito window in sending the invoices. Incognito won't save your browsing history which can result in an error.
    • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift + N
    • Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ Shift N
    • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
    • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl Shift P
  2. You'll want to clear the cache and make sure you're using a supported and up-to-date browser. This can help in fixing any browser-related issues.

I added this link you can check: Take and process payments in QuickBooks Online. This will show you how to get paid with QuickBooks Payments in QuickBooks Online.

Comment below if you need more assistance with this. I'll be here!

I can't email my invoices to my cleints?

Welcome to the Community space, Comfortjames. I've got a couple of information to help fix the error message you encountered.

These are the possible reasons why the error appears:

  • An incorrect email preferences
  • A damaged QuickBooks installation
  • Domain admin block
  • Account security settings from your email provider

The program regularly releases product updates to resolve emailing concerns, add enhancements, and update compliance information. In this case, let's start by ensuring your QuickBooks Desktop software is up to date with the latest release.

After that, let's check your webmail preferences by following the steps below:

  1. Select Edit at the top menu bar, then click Preferences.
  2. Tap Send Forms on the left panel.
  3. Choose your email account under the My Preferences tab, then Edit.
  4. Mark the SSL box or pick Default.
  5. In the Edit Email Info screen go to the SMTP Server Details section and set the server name and port to your email provider settings.

Here's an article for more details about setting up your email service: Connect your email to QuickBooks Desktop.

If you're using Gmail, visit this guide for the complete process: Reauthorize QuickBooks Desktop to keep using Gmail.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can assist you with regarding QuickBooks. I am always happy to help. Stay safe!
