Join nowI am hoping to do the QuickBooks Desktop Certification. I work in a CPA firm and we are set with ProAdvisor Status. When I (or anyone else in the firm) log in and looks for the training, we do not see Desktop Certification, only QBO Certification. When looking into the issue it seems like Desktop is still offered unless articles that were updated in the last couple of months are now outdated. I cannot figure out why we do not have it. (See attached image)
Please help! 95% of our clients use Desktop so that would be immensely more beneficial to me than QBO Certification. Thanks

Hi alittlebrady!
The QuickBooks Desktop certification is indeed more useful for you based on the percentage of clients you have who use this product. I'll be happy to provide information about this.
When you sign up for QBOA, you will have access to the training and certification materials for QuickBooks Online. If you wish to add materials for QuickBooks Desktop, you would need to have a QuickBooks Desktop ProAdvisor membership. On top of that, you'll get a free license for the bundled software of your choice.
See the FAQs for your additional reference.
I'm wishing you good luck with your QuickBooks Desktop certification. May this help you and your team to make your clients more equipped with the product.
If you have questions, feel free to reach back out anytime. Stay safe!

Same thing here. I am more adept in using the QuickBooks Desktop and want to take the training and exam so I can get the QuickBooks Desktop Certification. How to get the QB Desktop certification and where to acess it.
Thank you for joining the thread, @lhe2002.
Joining the thread to share some insights on how you can access the QuickBooks Desktop Certification. To access the certification, go to this link and see the release schedule: QuickBooks Training and Certification (QBO and QBDT)
ProAdvisors who support QuickBooks Desktop needs to have an active QuickBooks Desktop ProAdvisor membership. This will ensure that all your QuickBooks Desktop (including previous) certifications appear on your Find-a-ProAdvisor Profile.
See this article to learn more about how to get certified: Earn your QuickBooks Desktop certification
Our ProAdvisor Team is also here to help. If you need a hand in accessing the new certification, chat with a U.S.-based agent, or call us at using the phone number here.
Please post here again if you have other QuickBooks concerns besides training and certification. I'll be right here if you need any help. Have a good one!
There are 2 certification paths i.e ProAdvisor and QB Certified User.
