what are our help resources?

I'm quite new to bookkeeping. Some of it is quite straightforward but I also have a long list of questions I'd like to figure out the answers to. What are our resources / where can I get these answers from?

I see there's a nice community here, and that's great. That's where I'm asking at the moment. I'm wondering if there's anything interactive, ie where you can speak with someone? I know there's the help line but they don't seem to know about specific accounting treatments, more just tech support stuff. I've also seen links to speak to an accountant but I don't know how much that would cost. Plus I don't even know if they'd be willing to just chat for 20-30 mins or if you need to pay them a monthly fee.

So yeah, where can we go for help?

Furthermore, we also have our trusted experts (QuickBooks certified bookkeepers) who can assist you in any accounting or bookkeeping related concerns. You can visit our QuickBooks Online website, then select the Get a free consultation button and enter all the needed details to proceed.

In addition, you can speak and chat with our Customer Support team for product related concerns as well. For this part I assumed these were folks offering a free consultation under the hope that we'll retain their services full-time. Kind of like taking a free trial at a gym, where the general understanding is you'll sign up if you like it. Is that the case, or is it genuinely just free advice no strings attached?

what are our help resources?

Hello there, Swordfish.

Intuit has a ProAdvisor Program. This is applicable to accountants or bookkeeping experts. They'll undergo training and certification before they become certified ProAdvisor. The purpose of this is to have QuickBooks users an option to get accounting advice. They'll offer their services to anyone who needs assistance or guidance with their business.

You can even apply and be part of the ProAdvisor Program. I've added these articles if you to understand more about this:

I'm just a post away if you have more questions. Have a great day!
