On 8-28-23, the sales receipt template that was set as default, that we've been using for 3yrs, all of sudden stopped working. I, the primary user, can still save our sales receipts with the template(although it no longer automatically does it. I have to manually select the preferred template even though it's checked as default). Our other users cannot save any sales receipt with the template we created. It saves it in a weird format with most of the important information missing.
I feel like Quickbooks Online did an update over the weekend and now this simple function has become complicated and affecting our flow of work.
I want to ensure you're able to save sales receipts in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @Livermore.
May I know what specific details are missing from the sales receipts? I appreciate any extra information you can give, and it will help us isolate the issue and provide the best solution.
In the meantime, we can perform some troubleshooting steps to fix this. There are times when the browser is full of frequently accessed page resources, which causes some errors or unusual responses.
Let's start accessing your account using a different or private browser. You can use any of these shortcut keys:
If it works, you can switch to the regular browser and clear its cache. It helps to restore the default setup of the browser.
If private browsing doesn't work, use other supported web engines to get the best and most secure experience with the program.

On page 1, User A(sales manager account) creates the sales receipt. When it is saved, this is what we end up with. Half the info is missing. It does not save using our default template. Everything was fine before 8-28-23.
On page 2, User B(primary account) takes that same invoice, has to click on our customize sales template(mind you it is already checked as default) to save for all the info to show up properly. However, if User B creates the sales receipt, it will be saved using the template automatically.

I have exactly the same problem with a sales receipt created by MyWorks for WooCommerce. The PDF of the sales receipt only has the name of the customer and the total amount of the sale. In order for all the information to be displayed on the PDF, I have to manually select the template, which is already shown as having been selected.
