Gopayments and Receipt Printer

I just setup GoPayments.

 

This link says Receipt printers are usable. 

 

I bought the TM m10 BT but I can not find any option in settings to enable it or when I do a payment anywhere to print.

 

Is there receipt printer support in GoPayments or not?

Initially, you'll want to confirm you're using Android device with Release 12 or higher. If your device is Android 11 or older, it's currently unsupported. You can find detailed steps for checking which version you're using on Google's website.

 

In the event you're trying to connect your printer, make sure it's turned on and that Bluetooth is enabled on both devices. Afterwards, on the mobile device, go to Settings, Receipt printers, then tap Add a printer. This will scan for Bluetooth printers. GoPayment will detect your compatible printers and they'll appear on the screen. Next you can choose a printer you'd like to add.

 

 

Once your printer's connected, you'll be able to print a receipt.

 

Here's how:
 

  • When you make a sale, select Print receipt.
  • While viewing a sales receipt from the transaction list, tap Print receipt.
  • If Print receipt doesn't show, check your printer. Be sure to connect it if it isn't already connected.

 

 

In the event your printer won't print, go to Settings, Receipt printers, then pick the printer. Your printer model will determine which options you'll see. You may see connection status, cover status, paper level, and an option to set the printer as your default. Next, tap the printer's name and its status. Cover status and paper level may highlight an issue.

 

 

Here's what you can do to troubleshoot your printer's connection:
 

  1. Try turning the printer off, then back on.
  2. Switch your Bluetooth setting off, then back on.
  3. Disconnect and reconnect the printer, then select Forget printer on your mobile device.

The GoPayment app is the very latest. I have also tried this  on two new Tablets both with Android 13 and fresh installs of GoPayment.

Printing receipts will work when you connect your Android device with the release 12 or higher version. Since you're using S22 Ultra with Android 13 and TM-m10 Bluetooth, you're supposedly able to set it up.

Nothing personal but your instructions to contact help are no good

 

  1. Go to the Help icon and choose Search.
  2. Click the Contact Us button and enter your concern.
  3. Press Continue.

 

If I am in Quickbooks desktop there is a Help Menu item and unsder that a Contact Us.

 

If I am in the Go Payments and using the left menu there is a Send Feedback choice which takes me to a place to enter feedback and there is a Help choice but I click that and there is another send feedback choice and I click that and it gives me the email address to goto

There is nothing as you describe in your response.

Is intuit that out of touch with itself?

As of now, we don't have a specific printer for iPad or iPhone. I recommend looking for a compatible third-party application that'll help you print your receipts.

Currently, a receipt printer for an iPad is unavailable in QuickBooks Payments. However, I suggest utilizing a third-party tool to assist you in printing receipts.

Was there ever any resolution to this issue?  i have the recommended Epson TM-m10 printer and android tablet running Android version 14. The issue being that the Printer settings options to add a printer is not visible in the settings menu of the Gopayment App.  I  was on the phone for 1 hour and 45 minute with Quickbooks team this morning.  They sent me to Epson saying the printer was not communicating with my tablet.  In 45 minutes with Epson they helped download a test utility app. I successfully printed a test recent from the Epson Utility app proving the tablet and printer were communicating properly.  I have now been on the phone with Quickbooks team for the second call at 2 hours and 49 minutes. still no resolution?
