I totally agree! I only downloaded the simple portion of Quickbooks to file my contractors 1099s from last year and not anywhere is there a place to enter the actual totals for each contractor yet it says they're ready to be filed, I can only find a pay them option which I tried to ask if it's just a full total from last year if I can enter it under payments with a check and the software would use the number as the total for the 1099s and all I got when I "talked to a live representative" was a bunch of run around and transferring to someone else because what I needed help with was "beyond their scope of support" and I finally lost it after 2 days and multiple chats/transfers and being late filing now and I'm just going to file through the IRS website and cancel my subscription. My husband signed up for the small business quickbooks as well with no luck trying to file through that either. The old version we had wasn't supported anymore so we had to "upgrade" but there's nothing upgraded about this at all! Think it's time to get a refund!

And now they have you by the balls and are forcing you online! For your benefit, of course. It doesn't have ANYTHING to do with the subscription model which costs 4x the desktop version for ONE YEAR. It's utter nonsense. They don't care about you running your business with ease, they care about having you suck on the teet of the subscription model.

This will help you get to the real live chat. It is in your Quickbooks program---help-- At the bottom you'll see contact and in there you will find live chat. They so have regular hours. I have used them several times and they very good at what they do.
Live Chat is absolute useless crap. I was transferred SIX times and still no one was able to help me with my simple questions. It was like being trapped in a torture chamber.

Yes, please see the chat transcript from my experience with Quickbooks Live Chat yesterday. Please note that this is only the last half of the conversation. I did not save the first hour. No one should EVER have to experience something like this during a chat with a customer service agent.
Your question was simple and it's no wonder their support team failed to answer it. All you have to do is cancel your current license and request a proportionate refund. Then buy a new subscription license separately. You can purchase a new license through a partner for up to 20% off including the renewal price. You need to uninstall your QBD program and reinstall it with the new license code.

When you transfer money, this will vary based on the setup. If you're moving money into your QuickBooks Checking account, it takes three business days to clear, and the clearing days will take up to two or five banking days for the money taken out from your QuickBooks Checking account.

Unexpected errors can be experienced when you'll try to connect the PayPal app to QuickBooks Online. To avoid this, please make sure of the following:

Additionally, there are two ways to connect to PayPal app.
The first one is switching from bank feeds to connecting the PayPal app. Before syncing, turn on the Sales Tax or GST Center, even if you don't charge your customers for it, to correctly record sales tax. Moreover, for correct inventory levels and accounting, set up your QuickBooks items the way you have them in PayPal because the app will identify the right products or services for sale based on the item name.

The second one is switching from syncing with PayPal to connecting to Paypal. The same goes for the first one, you need to set up sales tax even if you don't charge your customers for it, and your item names in PayPal should be the same in QuickBooks.

When i try and login to Quickbooks online the screen keeps loading and never logs in. I rest the computer and clean the web page caches. what else can I do?
