Let me help you with this, dimple3.

In QBO, you can switch billing schedules between annual and monthly. Here are the key points you need to remember:

  •  You can save 10% on annual billing.
  • You may need to wait 30 days before you can make your next payment.
  • We will refund any unused time from your old plan that we cannot transfer to your new plan.

You can follow these steps to switch your subscription billing:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online as a primary admin.
  2. Click on the Gear icon, then choose Subscriptions and Billing.
  3. Select Switch to monthly billing.
  4. Click Switch, then Done.

I currently use Quickbooks Enterprise and I use it for payroll for a small church.  I want to scale back to using a payroll only version of Quickbooks.  I keep getting charged $700 per year for subscription and i'm being charged another $1400 too.  I can't continue that way.  What can I do to move to a payroll only platform?

Thanks,

I'm glad you're exploring the different payroll options available with QuickBooks, @davidg22. Let me provide clarification about the subscription.

QuickBooks offers standalone payroll services such as QuickBooks Online Payroll, which could be a more cost-effective and streamlined choice compared to maintaining separate subscriptions for QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) and Payroll.

QuickBooks Online Payroll features three tiers—Core, Premium, and Elite. Each level offers different features and pricing designed to meet various business needs. To understand what each tier provides and how the pricing works, you can check out the plans and pricing page for QuickBooks Online Payroll here: Find the right payroll plan for you.

Before making a decision, consider the payroll features you currently use in QuickBooks Enterprise, ensuring the features available with QuickBooks Online Payroll align with your business requirements.

If you choose a tier that fits your needs and decide to transition, moving from QuickBooks Desktop Payroll to QuickBooks Online Payroll can be straightforward. Check this guide for details on transferring your data: Move your QuickBooks Desktop Payroll info to QuickBooks Online Payroll (payroll only).

If you need further assistance or have more questions about managing your subscriptions, feel free to reply here. We're here to make sure your transition is seamless and trouble-free.

Hi there.

While it’s unfortunate to see you leave, we understand that making the best decision for your company is important. I'll guide you through the process of canceling your account.

First, could you please clarify what you mean by "Please find an attached file" in your post? Any screenshots or further clarification would be greatly appreciated. Additionally, could you let me know which account you are trying to cancel? It appears that this thread includes multiple products. If you intend to cancel your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account, please note that the cancellation process varies depending on where you initially signed up.

If you signed up through a mobile app store, you'll need to cancel your subscription directly through that app store. However, if you purchased your subscription online or directly from Intuit, please follow these steps to cancel your account:

  1. Sign in to the Intuit Account Manager.
  2. Click on the Products & billing, then select your company name.
  3. Find the product you wish to cancel, then select Cancel.
  4. You’ll see a multiple-choice survey on why you're canceling your subscription. Once you’ve filled it out, click on Continue to cancel.
  5. You’ll see a page detailing product benefits and the last day you can use your subscription. Select Continue to cancel.
  6. You’ll see a pop-up confirming your subscription is canceled. Select Got it.

For detailed information, check out this article: Cancel your QuickBooks Online or Intuit Enterprise Suite subscription.

Meanwhile, if the product that you want to cancel is QuickBooks Desktop visit this article for a comprehensive guide: Cancel your QuickBooks Desktop Subscription.

Moreover, should you seek more comprehensive information regarding your account's status following a cancellation, we highly recommend consulting the referenced article. This resource offers a detailed overview of various key aspects: What happens to my QuickBooks Online data after I cancel?

Please don't hesitate to let me know if you have other concerns or inquiries about managing your QuickBooks subscription. I'm just around to help. Take care always.

@davidg22

You can switch to an old QB Desktop with a non subscription license + Payroll Mate. You will import payroll data as IIF to QB Desktop. Then you can use the trial version of QB Desktop Enterprise to access your historical data for good. You should contact @Fiat Lux - ASIA for details.
