Export, correct, import + excel maybe?

Yes, you can also use this method to change the price of multiple items in a single file (Excel). When importing them back to QuickBooks, you'll get a check box asking if you want to overwrite the values of the products and services with the same name.
In case you need the steps to import, here's how:
Additionally, I suggest checking this article to know more about the suggested formatting for importing inventory into QuickBooks: Import products and services into QuickBooks Online.

Is there anyway to do a specific % increase across the entire inventory? Almost every vendor we have has a 5% increase Feb 1st and importing and exporting with single or multiple item manipulation is a massive time consuming effort. It would be far easier to plug in a across the board increase and then make individual changes were needed.
Yes, there's a way to add a specific % increase across the entire inventory in QuickBooks, @muenstermann. Happy to share with you the complete details and steps.
I agree that exporting and importing inventory whenever there are changes is time-consuming. That's why QuickBooks create a Price Rules beta feature. This functionality let you to enter a percentage (decrease and increase) for all of your products and services.
To utilize this, let's turn it on first by following the instructions below:
After that, set up the price rule template. Do the following:

Hello,
Just adding on this query,
by doing a bulk price percentage increase across all inventory items using the price rules, I have noticed then that when you look up a product it does not show you the new increased price, it still show's the old price then when you go into the product details it shows it has a price rule set against it. Is there a way of having this new increased price shown when you do a product search.?
Thanks
Thank you for joining this thread, @DLADCO. I'll share some insights about how the price rule works in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
In QBO, we need to ensure that the price rules have selected the Customers or Products and services. You also have the option to set the price in the Adjusted Price tab. After saving it, the changes made will apply to your future transactions.
Also, the Sales price/rate in the Product and Services info page won't change even if you have set up a price rule for them. You'll want to create a transaction to verify if the rules are being applied to your inventory items.
For more information about this process, please refer to this article: Set price rules in QuickBooks Online. Scroll down the page and you'll find a list of common questions about this feature, along with their answers.

following. I have the same issue. I would like to see the new adjusted price show up in the "sale price" rather than have my people have to use the drop down to find it. Any news o this?
Thank you for following this thread, sk@cimaint.com.
I'll add some information about the pricing features in QuickBooks Online.
When creating an invoice, the price rule should automatically be applied as you add items. It's possible that there are multiple price rules applied to the product and services. That's why, it's not showing the adjusted price. To resolve this, you'll need to select which rule you want to use and review all active price rules.

THIS DOES NOT WORK - I HAVE 2 OF THE SAME SHIRTS. I ADJUST THE PRICE AND THEN ADDED 1 TO INVENTORY. MADE 2 TEST INVOICES, USING THE PRODUCT ONCE IN EACH TO SEE IF ONE WOULD HAVE AN OLD PRICE AND ONE WOULD HAVE THE "UPDATED COST" AND IT DOESN'T WORK
Hello there, @maryskustomkreations. I appreciate you sharing details of what you did in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
I have replicated the scenario on my end and observed that different item prices (old and updated) appear on my test invoices. Please refer to the attached images for visual reference (Note: Screenshots include dummy information).
It is possible that you modified the item cost before creating the invoices, which resulted in not having different item prices (old and updated). When you adjust prices for Products/Services in QuickBooks, the changes only affect future transactions.
However, if you created the invoice with the old price before adjusting the item cost and still don't see the desired result, this could be a browser issue.
Browsers use cache and cookies to load web pages faster on subsequent visits, but this can sometimes cause unexpected behavior that affects the views and performance of QBO. To identify the issue, I recommend using a private window, as it doesn't save any temporary files.
To open an incognito window, you can use the following keyboard shortcuts:
If you are able to generate different item prices after adjusting your product's cost in the private window, I’d suggest deleting your browser cache to refresh the system. If the issue persists, I recommend using other supported browsers. This will help us determine if the problem is specific to your current browser.
