Has anyone been able to set up the new online bill pay since Melio was discontinued?

This is still an ongoing issue and they seem to be having trouble fixing it. You can sign up for a free Melio account and integrate it with QBO as a workaround.

You can also get $100 cashback to pay your first bill.

I'm not able to get any options to select one of the plans offered. I know there are 3 bill pay options, but there isn't any way that I can find to make that selection.

Hello there, cgilliam-afcurge.

I'll add some steps to help set up bill pay and choose a plan accordingly.

In QuickBooks Online, you can set up online payment to subscribe to QuickBooks Bill Pay. Let me guide you on how.

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company file.
  2. Choose Expenses, then Bills.
  3. Either select an existing bill or create a new one.
  4. Pick Schedule Payment or Save and Schedule Payment.
  5. You'll be routed to the different bill pay plans available.
  6. Determine which plan is right for you.
  7. Select Choose plan.

However, the service is not yet available at your end if you encounter a message or notification stating that a new approach to paying bills is coming soon.

In the meantime, proceed to Melio.com and utilize the Intuit login option. From there, pull up the bill from your vendor and schedule a payment.

In addition, you can review this material for more information about the payment service to have a guide on managing your bills and subscription: Learn about QuickBooks Bill Pay.

On the other hand, consider scanning this article when you need to add a purchase order as a line item of a bill to clear the original entry and keep your record accurate: Add purchase orders to expenses, bills, or checks in QuickBooks Online.

Feel free to click the Reply button if you have additional questions when setting up bill pay or other related concerns in QuickBooks Online. I'm more than willing to help.

Has anyone been able to set up the new online bill pay since Melio was discontinued?

I’m getting the “Coming Soon” message. Why did Intuit discontinue the support of Melio without being ready to offer the bill pay option within QuickBooks????

I’m using the workaround of melio.com, but now it’s not synching with QuickBooks. This is the most aggravating thing. I spent two hours yesterday trying to get this to work and am rapidly approaching that again today without a resolution.

How do I get the melio app to sync with QuickBooks?

I can assist you with syncing your Melio account with QuickBooks Online (QBO), @cgilliam-afcurge.

We understand how important it is to manage bills through Melio. Although it's been discontinued in QBO, it can still be integrated with it.

Before syncing, please ensure that the company name and email address you used for both Melio and QBO match exactly. If you're new to Melio, it's recommended to sign up with your Intuit credentials, and your QB data will sync automatically.

To sync QBO and Melio, you can use our app store. Here's how:

  1. Visit our app store and search for the Melio app.
  2. Click on Get app now and enter your Intuit credentials.
  3. You'll then be taken to Melio, where you can sign up and start syncing your data.

For more information, you can refer to Melio's help article on How to sync Melio and QuickBooks Online. You can also check out another article to know more about the data that Melio syncs with QBO: What data does Melio sync with QuickBooks Online?.

To help improve your experience with QBO, your valuable feedback goes directly to our product development team for review and consideration.

Here's how to send it:

1. Go to the Gear icon and choose Feedback.

2. Enter your comments or suggestions.

3. Click Next to submit.

In case you want to use QuickBooks Bill Pay, you can check out this article for more guidance: Learn about QuickBooks Bill Pay.

Feel free to return to this thread if you have any other concerns besides syncing Melio with QBO. We're always ready to back you up. Stay safe!
