How do I load my inventory

Let's make sure that you have all your inventories in QBO, alcade4561.

I'd like to ask though if you're trying to move or upload your inventories to QuickBooks Online? If so, you can import your products into your account using an Excel file. Here's how: 

1. Go to the Gear or Settings ⚙ icon and select Import Data.
2. Click Products and Services.
3. On the Import products and services page, click Browse.
4. Find and select your Excel file. Select Open, then click Next.
5. Map your information. Your Field represents the headers on your spreadsheet. Click the drop-down menu and  select the one that matches a field in QuickBooks Online.
6. Click Next.
7. Select Overwrite all values for each product or service with the same name. Make sure everything looks correct because this can't be undone.
8. Click Import.

Trying to upload my inventory, but it's saying that my 'type' field submission is invalid for some reason. I have it filled in with 'Inventory'. Do you know what might be happening here?

This error happens when the Quantity on Hand and Reorder Point are left empty for these items.

To proceed, open your CSV file and input the necessary information in the designated columns. If you have no quantity on hand or reorder point for those products, please enter zeros (0).

However, if you're getting the same issue after modifying your file, I recommend performing the process through a private window to narrow down the result. The procedure can assist in removing any cache-related issues that may have caused the problems. You can save time by using either of the following keyboard shortcuts:

• Google Chrome: Press Ctrl+ Shift + N
• Safari: Press Command + Shift + N
• Mozilla Firefox: Press Ctrl+ Shift + P

If it works fine, return to your default browser and clear the cache to refresh the system. However, if you're getting the same experience, try using another compatible browser to narrow down the result.
