Welcome to the Community, @mguiles.

May I know which specific bank you've connected to QuickBooks Online (QBO)? Are you getting any error messages? Any additional information will be much appreciated.

In the meantime, try signing into your QBO using a private browser (incognito). This will help us check if this is a browser-related (cache and cookies) issue.

Here's how:

  • Press Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome).
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox).
  • Control Option (Safari).

Once logged in, let's try to manually update or download the transactions. Here's how:

  1. In QBO, go to the Banking menu at the left pane to get to the Banking page.
  2. Click the Update option at the upper right.

If it works, return to your default browser and perform a clear cache to refresh the system. However, if the issue persists, try using other supported browsers.

The bank that I have connected to QBO is FirstBank in Aurora, Colorado.

I am not getting any error messages.

The web browser I am using is Chrome.  I tried logging in incognito, and then clicked on the Update icon, but that did not work to get the missing items.

I also tried using Safari, and that also did not work.

Lastly, I tried the solutions in the link at the end of your email, but none of them worked

I have no idea why I have a bunch of items that did not come over.  They seem to all be from June and July of 2020.

Thanks for taking the time to update us on this, @mguiles.

I have a workaround for you, to get those bank transactions showing up for you.  If you have specific charges not showing, you can upload these with a .csv file.

First, you'll prepare your .CSV file. Here are a few tips:

  1. QuickBooks has 3 fields: Date, Description and Amount to import bank transactions.
  2. Mandatory fields should be filled in. For Amount fields with no value (normally happens to 4-column .CSV files), enter 0 (zero).
  3. Remove all symbols in the Amount field. For example, currency sign or comma.
  4. If your Amount field is in one column, use the minus - sign  to depict money out rather than brackets ( ).
  5. Remove non-transactional info in the file (ex. account numbers, opening, closing balance).
  6. Save your changes.

Here's how your file looks like when it's ready.

Now that you've prepared your .CSV file, you can import bank transactions from the .CSV file to QuickBooks.

  1. Select the Banking menu, then select File Upload.
  2. Select Browse and choose the .CSV file.
  3. Select Open, then select Next.
  4. Select the account from the QuickBooks Account drop-down, then select Next.
  5. Select a Date and a date format.
  6. Select the Description and Amount statement fields.
  7. When you are ready, select Next.
  8. All transactions in your .CSV file will show. If you'd like to exclude transactions, clear the checkbox next to date.
  9. Select Next.
  10. Select Yes to import now, then select Let's go!

I'd love to hear how this goes. If you need additional help, please know I'm only a post away. Take care!
