If you've set up payments profile in QuickBooks Online (QBO), your customers can process a partial payment through the payment page.

Here's how:

  1. Open the invoice email.
  2. Choose Review and pay.
  3. Pick the Pencil Icon to edit the Payment Amount.
  4. Enter the partial amount.
  5. Once they fill out the rest of the fields, they can select Pay.

You can check this guide if your customer runs into issues when trying to pay: What to do if customers can't pay their invoices online.
