I have already done all those things. It worked before but now it doesn’t give the customer the option for PayPal.
when I view the invoice as a payor it shows up but when the customer opens the invoice and clicks pay invoice it’s not there

I recognize that PayPal payment is an option when a customer clicks the email to pay their invoice.
Since this disappeared from the customer's end, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Payments & Merchant Service Center Support team. They have the tools to pull up your account and investigate what causes PayPal to disappear from the option when a customer pays their invoices.

They were doing maintenance on PayPal and quickbooks- I had to call in to get this information. Is there a place they post this stuff?
They were doing maintenance on PayPal and quickbooks. I spent hours trying to figure this out and had to call in to get this info, is this posted anywhere for me to see? Maintenance was being done for 6 days, so we not get notice?

I would recommend reaching out to our support team again. They can check your account and help you make sure PayPal will show up on invoices in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

I'm having the same problem - setting allow PayPal and Venmo, but neither show on the test invoice or the client invoice. I'm hoping this is not an ongoing issue as I stopped accepting PayPal and Venmo directly from customers, thinking they were going to be available through QB invoicing. I am new to QB. I have lots of customers who like paying through PayPal and Venmo, and needed to send a client an invoice tonight. Thanks for the help

I checked our system and see there is already an active investigation underway for this issue (INV-91144). This means that our engineers are currently looking into why these payment methods don't show up on the emailed invoices. We've also started compiling a list of impacted users like yourself.

Good lord, how long do defects stay open at Intuit?
There are countless other invoicing products out there. They don't have yearlong struggles with PayPal. Most of us here have likely moved on. I was up and running with a competitor the same day.
