Let me guide you through ordering new checks.

You can select the type of checks you want to order through the Intuit Market site. If you need assistance, simply click the Chat live now button to chat with our QuickBooks agent.

Once you have the checks, you can then print these with the new company address entered on file.

I would like to add a second address to my company. This is because I have 2 locations.

Hi bd10,

You can only add a legal address and a customer-facing address in QuickBooks. Let me walk you through the steps.

1. Click Gear.
2. Click Account and Settings.
3. Click Company, then click the pencil icon in the Address section.
4. Uncheck the box next to Same as company under Customer-facing address to add your address where your customers can contact you. This is also the address printed on your sales forms. Do the same if you want to add it under Legal address.
5. Click Save. Then, Done.

i dont see a gear icon

The Gear icon is in the upper-right hand corner of QuickBooks. Try pressing F5 to refresh QuickBooks and reload the missing buttons. If you're on mobile devices, please access your company using a mobile browser.

When you click the Gear icon, select the settings that you want to change. If you want to update your company details, choose Accounts and Settings. Then, click the section that you want to update.

 I’m here to help you with changing the company address in QuickBooks Online. Here are the steps and screenshots for your visual reference:

1. Go to the Gear icon.
2. Click Account and settings under Your Company.
   
3. Choose the Company tab, then click the pencil icon in the Address section.
   
4. Enter the necessary details.
5. Click Save and then hit Done.

there is NO gear

there is no gear in the top right of my screen

How do i change my company address in order for it to appear properly on invoices i'm creating. We have recently moved the company headquarters

The steps posted above are for our QuickBooks Online product. If you don't have QBO, you wont have that gear icon. If you use QuickBooks Desktop the steps are different. I'll post them below, in case that's the product you have, 

1. Sign in to camps.intuit.com. Or get help signing in.
2. Next to Primary Mailing Address, select Change. Note: If this address is connected with a payment method, you need to change the address on the payment method first.
3. Select the correct address from the list, or select Add a new address.
4. Select Save and Close.

I need to override the company address.  The system does not recognize the address as valid.  The address is new address validated by county several months ago.

Unusual QuickBooks behavior, like being unable to recognize your company address can be due to the corrupted web browser files. To rule out this possibility, you can use a private or incognito window. This mode doesn't save any historical data from your frequently visited web pages.

Here are the shortcut keys you can use to get started:

• Ctrl+ Shift + N for Google Chrome .
• Ctrl + Shift + P for Mozilla Firefox  and Microsoft Edge .
• Command + Shift + N for Safari .

Once done, please sign in to QuickBooks Online as the Master or Company Admin of the account . Then, change the company address as you usually do or you can follow the steps outlined by my peers above. If you're now able to achieve this task, you can clear your original browser's cache to wipe out the outdated internet files.

If private browsing won't work, you can utilize another supported web engine instead.

Also, you can tweak other QuickBooks settings to turn features on or off. This way, you can personalize the program to work the way you want it to.

Let's try some basic troubleshooting procedures. The stored cache can cause unusual browser behavior. Let's log in to your QuickBooks Online company using a private page. Here are the shortcut keys to open it:

• Ctrl+ Shift + N for Google Chrome .
• Ctrl + Shift + P for Mozilla Firefox  and Microsoft Edge .
• Command + Shift + N for Safari .

If you're able to see the Gear/Settings icon already, then you'll have to regularly clear the cache of your browser.

The Gear icon is located in the upper right corner of your home screen between the Notification (bell) and your Intuit Account. However, if you're using QuickBooks Desktop this button isn't available on your home page.

In case you're using QuickBooks Online, let's start with accessing your QuickBooks account through a private browsing window. This will help us determine if this is a browser-related issue since this mode doesn't save site data and cache files. You can press Ctrl + Shift + N for Google Chrome, Ctrl + Shift + P for Mozilla Firefox, and ⌘ + Shift + N for Safari web browser.

Once you're in, locate the Gear icon in the upper right corner of your home page. If the button was there, we'll have to go back to your normal browser and perform a clear cache to clean up your system. Doing this process will also enhance your browsing experience.

We can also use the other supported browsers to isolate the issue. Please check out our supported browsers below:

Let me help change your company address in your QuickBooks company file.

The steps shared by my colleagues above are for QuickBooks Online (QBO) version. It seems that you're using the Desktop version of QuickBooks. To change your company information in QuickBooks Desktop, you can go to the Company menu. Here's how:

1. Open your QuickBooks Desktop company file.
2. Go to the Company menu, then select My Company.
3. Click the pencil icon to edit.
4. In the Company Information window, go to the Legal Information tab.
5. Enter your company address.
6. Click OK once done.
