I am a high school teacher. I set up and have a verified educator account. What do I need to do to set up student accounts?
Hello there, @kthompson2b

Thank you, @GraceC for the quick response.
I'm trying to register high school students using the form on this page and am having trouble. Our school is not on the list, so it will not allow the students to register.
I also tried to use the information and the link from an email (below) from Intuit confirming my teacher account and about setting up the student accounts, but had technical trouble with the website loading.
I'd appreciate any advice. Thank you!

Hello, @kthompson2b.
I recommend emailing the Intuit email that you provided to get technical help with the education program. As for the page loading, I suggest clearing your web browsers data or opening the program in a new private (incognito) window. The private window will run a new page that doesn't collect cache and cookies. You can do this by clicking the three dots or dashes in the top right-hand corner of your web browser and selecting New Private Window.
Please know I'm only a post away if you have any other QuickBooks related questions. Best wishes!

Thanks for joining the thread, @Lborrelli.
Yes, it's possible to extend the trial period for your free QuickBooks Online (QBO) access. You'll just have to email a request for a new license with a copy of their class schedule. I am an accounting professor who teaches Quickbooks online once a year to our accounting majors. I currently already have an accountant version that allows me to link to my students as clients. That part is working fine and I want to keep it.
I would also like a second account that would be like a student account so that I could perform my planned assignments and provide screenshots to my students showing them things they will see as they work through the assignment. I previously had a student access account but it expired. Can you please help me in establishing a new student level account. Thanks!
The extended license would actually be for a student version that I as instructor could use so that I could work out the assignments in advance of my students. There would be no class schedule as instructor. I can give information about the class listing and the university showing me as instructor.

I need help accessing my online account for teachers. I received the verification email that I had been approved and that was about a month in advance of when I needed my class to start working on QBO. I don't remember if I had to set up a user ID and password at that time. Yesterday, I went to the link in the email and clicked, and it said for me to sign into my account. I used the Forgot Password link and typed in the email address associated with the verification. The response was there was not an account associated with that email.
I tried calling support but you can't speak to a person if you don't have an account, and the chat option isn't working either. I need to access this fairly soon or I'll need to scrap the class project using QuickBooks and substitute another accounting software. I would prefer to use QBO since QB is the choice of most small businesses and I'm familiar with it. Please give me some idea of how to resolve this.
Thanks!

Thank you for the quick response but it still doesn't address my issue. I received the email with the Get Started link. I vaguely remember clicking the link and looking at some of the available resources. If I'm interpreting this correctly, that's a one-time use link and I must have set up my account then. I'm usually good about recording any new accounts and passwords but I can't find where I did that. If I did set up my account at that time, why can't the account be found now?
Please let me know how I can get some help. Just directing me to various webpages isn't getting the job done. Thanks!
I appreciate your prompt reply, as well as sharing additional details on your situation.
If you already have an account you set up before, then it's best to speak with our Technical Support team for assistance. They can search for your QuickBooks Online (QBO) company via the personal information you used to register your QBO company, such as your email address.
Here's how:
Once this is taken care of, you can open this page: Get Started with QuickBooks Online. You'll find links to articles that are handy for those users starting with QBO, such as Set up customers and vendors and Set up banking.

The registration form for high school students: https://intuit.me/HSsignups is not loading for me. Anyone know how to fix this or have an updated URL?
The form for high school students does not have our high school listed. I have emailed Intuit asking them to add it so I can register them but no response and the chat support does not help either. Anyone have a direct contact who can help? I was able to verify my educator account.
This link does not load, https://intuit.me/HSsignups, do you have another one?
Hi,
I unsubscribed from my QuickBooks Plus in Feb because it was expensive for me but hopefully now I'm a student and I can use the Intuit Education Program for students. I called the customer service and they said we can't resubscribe for free but we can open a new account for free which doesn't make sense. If I open a new account how should I transfer my 2019 and 2020 information?
Could you please help me to successfully unsubscribe as a student?
Thank you,
Ali
Hello @rastegar,
Let me help share how you can unsubscribe from an account with QuickBooks Online for Teachers and Students.
To start with, a student account is bundled with the online company used by your teacher. With this, you'll have to contact them to unsubscribe from your online account.
Meanwhile, you can transfer your data from the old online company to the new one. You can do so by following the steps outlined in this article: Move your lists to QuickBooks Online.
Additionally, I've also included this reference for a compilation of articles you can use while working with us: Help Articles for QuickBooks Online.
If you have any other questions, please let me know in the comments below. I'll be here to lend a hand
