Join nowHello Philcampau,
Thank you for reaching out to the QuickBooks Community! To get in contact with QuickBooks support, you can do so through QuickBooks Online:
Depending on the Online Payroll Service you are using, I've included this link to guide you in accessing payroll tax forms and tax payments. Please note that all forms are available to view around 35 days after the end of the quarter. Leave me a reply below if there's anything I can assist you with. Have a nice day, and take care!
I have to file the form by the 25th of April, and QB always has it available by first week into April . If you don't provide it untill 35 days that would make me a LATE filer- HELP
Hello, @philcampau.
I recommend getting in touch with our QuickBooks support.
You can follow the steps above given by my colleague SashaMC, so they can give you a proper resolution regarding your concern.
I was on the phone for 45 minutes and the person talking to me was not knowledgeable enough to answer my basic question, she put me on extended holds and after It was evident to me she was not capable of helping me reset my account so that I can access my 1028, I asked for a manager to talk to, she said No One Is Available! I then agreed to a call back from a manager, this was Monday, today is Wednesday and I am still waiting! Disappointing.
Thanks for getting back to us, @philcampau.
Since this requires pulling up your account which we're unable to do it here in the Community, I highly suggest contacting our Support team again and provide the case number so the agent can read the notes. I know you already called but since this is a public forum, they can pull up and check your account in a secure environment.
You can follow the steps shared by my colleague above to reach them or refer to this article: Contact Support.
Please let me know how it goes or if you have any other issues or concerns. I want to make sure everything is taken care of for you. Have a good one!
Ok, sorry about that, I am on phone now with someone and he is diligently working to get a resolution...thank you
Hey, @philcampau.
Thanks for letting us know that you're contacting our Customer Support Team. Just keep us updated on this matter.
If there's anything else you need help with, feel free to ask.
I have the same problem. Did they resolve the issue?
We want to ensure that you're able to pull up the quarterly report, Actionboardshop.
I'd suggest reaching out to our customer care support. This way, an agent can walk you through the steps. Just follow the instructions provided by my colleague at the top.
In the meantime, I'll share the article about the list of payroll reports available in QuickBooks Online.
If you have other concerns, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us.
Same exact problem I am having this quarter and that I also had to deal with last quarter. It took me an entire hour on the phone with QB Support to teach them what a MI 1028 was and then another 20 mins for them to finally make it accessible to me.
Prior to Q4 2020, I was always able to timely access this form. So, apparently this is QuickBooks' idea of an "upgrade."
Ridiculous.
I am having the same problem as well. This has been a problem ever since QB introduced the automatic tax payment feature.
Please revert this change. I need to file this report with the State within 20 days after the end of the quarter and it's still not available currently, 18 days after the end of the 1st Quarter.
Hello, ali33.
I'm here to help ensure that you'll be able to file the report quarterly. I'd recommend reaching out to our Customer Support Team. This way, one of the representatives will be able to check your account and help you guide in accessing and filling your quarterly report.
To ensure that you'll be assisted immediately, I recommend checking our support hours.
I've also added these articles for additional reference about the QBO tax forms:
Fill me in if you have other questions or concerns. I'm always here to help. Have a great day and stay safe!
Yes, I am aware that once I call customer support they can access my account and make this form available on my QuickBooks. That's exactly what I had to do last quarter.
My question is, why do I now have to waste over an hour every quarter talking to customer support in order to do something which never used to be a problem.
Honestly, this is such a huge waste of time.
Hi ali33!
I understand that you want the ability to pull the report on your end without the need to contact our Support Team. Let me share some details about it.
The message "This form will be available soon. Please check back later." means that our team is still validating the accuracy. This is why it is unavailable yet. Intuit makes sure to follow the guidelines and stay compliant not just with Federal, but also with your State.
Once the form is ready, it'll be accessible automatically on your account.
Additionally, you can check this link on how to view payroll tax payments and forms: Access payroll tax forms and tax payments.
