Hi there, @gregisabel1.
I'm here to guide you in exporting your QuickBooks Self-employed (QBSE) data.
To do this, you'll need to start the export process from the QuickBooks Self-Employed.
Before we begin, make sure you are not logged into any other Quickbooks product to avoid cross wires and block data. Then, follow these steps below:
Step 1: Review your tax checklist
Step 2: Send your info to TurboTax
After you finish the tax checklist, follow the links at the bottom:
For further insights, you can check out this link: Send QuickBooks Self-Employed tax info to TurboTax Self-Employed or Live.
I'll be here if you need more help. Take care!
Thank you, I appreciate this. I've logged out of everything except my QB Self-employed on my laptop. I click on HOME and there is no link next to SETTINGS that says "Tax Checklist Link". This was so easy last year, I really do not understand what has happened. Under SETTINGS next to my name I see a full menu but no link to a Tax Checklist there either.
Hello there, gregisabel1.
The tax checklist will be available in mid-January. Intuit will send you a notification once it's accessible. When it comes time to file, you'll be able to export your data to TurboTax by using the Tax checklist link on your Home screen. Make sure you're signed into TurboTax in the same web browser while selecting this option.
If your sign-in credentials are different for both accounts, you'll want to follow an appropriate process outlined in our Send QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) tax info to TurboTax article. This will ensure that your information's sent to the correct account.
If the issue persist about missing the Tax checklist link. The browser's cache can be the reason why the checklist isn't showing up on your QBSE account. To better isolate this, let's try signing in to your account using a private or incognito window. This mode doesn't use the existing cache data and helps us confirm browser-related issues. Here's how:
If it works, go back to your regular browser and clear the cache to delete those temporarily stored files and browsing history. Web-based platforms like QBSE collect cache files (cookies) to save you time, but this can impact processes and cause them to not work. You can also use other supported, up-to-date browsers to roll out the possibility of a browser-related issue.
I have articles here for your guidelines about filing your taxes and sending your tax info to TurboTax Online:
