You must call Intuit directly to get the validation code. They have to verify your credential prior to proceed anything.

This didn't work for me and I have Quickbooks Desktop 2014 pro. I had to reinstall it. I got to Help menu, and there is no Activate QuickBooks Desktop. What do I do? I need to get this activated.

Let me share some clarification about reinstalling QuickBooks Pro 2014.
Currently, the fully supported products with add-on services are QuickBooks Desktop Pro and Premier 2020, 2019, and 2018. Since you're using an older version, it would be best to contact our Technical Support Team for further assistance.

I live in South africa and have the same problem. Where can I find a validation code now as there is apparantly no more support offered in South Africa
Which QB Desktop year version do you have?
Premier 2014
If you are using QBD 2014 US version, you can try to chat Support and ask the validation code. If they refuse to help, consider to upgrade your version. You can still purchase the one time license for QBD 2020 or 2021 if required.

I agree with @Fiat, if you're using a US version, I recommend that you upgrade to a newer version of QuickBooks Desktop. Since the currently supported versions are QuickBooks Desktop Premier 2020, 2021, and 2022.

Normally, our support team is available from Monday to Friday 6AM to 6PM if you have Pro, Premier, and Plus version. If you're using the Enterprise, they are available anytime on any day. I have also another way on how you contact our support team. You can message them and they'll surely get you up and running again.
However if you're still unable to see the option to contact us in the Help menu. make sure to check your display settings. But if it still doesn't work, you may have to update your QuickBooks Desktop version that you're using. Also, for now we're unable to support QuickBooks Desktop for South African version. While we're still unable to move your data from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online (QBO), you can let your clients check out QBO products.

"My name is Stanley [Removed],i bought Quick books 2014 version.
That time i was working i did not have time to support my clients.
When i tried recently to install,it requires registration.
when i contacted Quick boos they told me to contact the supplier.

AFAIK QuickBooks Desktop as a whole is no longer supported. We can’t help him directly, since registration has/had to be done online. I tried EasiBiz Tech, who were the distributors in South Africa: They directed me to Intuit. Their support options are not available right now, probably because in the US they are all still in bed. I’m not hopeful that we can solve this one.

Which country version do they have?
Afaik, users in South Africa are using US version, UK version, or South Africa version.
You should contact Easybiz again to make sure about the country version they sold at that time.

He would have the South African version of QB Simple Start.
I'm not sure there's an Intuit rep in South Africa anymore who has to bother with generating the validation code for your license and South Africa version is outdated. If your client still prefers to use QB Desktop, consider converting data to QB Desktop US or UK version. They can still purchase the one time license for QB Desktop 2021 US version or QB Desktop 2020 UK version. Otherwise, convert their data to QB Online South Africa version.
