I received an email saying our payroll service will renew soon. But the cost is no where to be found in the email. So now I'm looking at my account information online. And again . . . no pricing information. Where is it?!?!? Clearly, QB knows they are charging too much if they go to such great lengths to omit the most basic of information. NEVER before have I received an email notifying me that my subscription to something is renewing soon and the cost isn't included.
Does anyone know how to find out how much payroll renewal is? Are there any options other than just paying the price they decide to charge?
Each QuickBooks payroll plan has different pricing, Iyonski1. It also has an employee fee per month.
Let me help you check your billing details. You can log in to CAMPS (Customer Account Management Portal). From there, you can find the billing history. Here's how:
You can also reach out to our payroll support so an agent can take a better look at your account. Here's how:

Yes - am aware of the annual fee charged plus the monthly amount per check. I can look in my Quickbooks software to see what we paid last year. So i don’t need directions on how to sign on to find out that information. But what is the renewal rate for THIS year. The renewal rate is standard information that should included in the email AND shown in my online account details. Please tell me how to quickly find out the renewal charge. I am not interested in calling into support to find out that information.
Hello there,
The QuickBooks Care Plan Billing depends on the version you have and the number of active employees you have. You can check out this link for more details about our prices: Care Plans for QuickBooks Desktop Pro, Premier, and Mac. The best option to know more about your billing and subscription, I'd suggest contacting out Customer Support so they can securely check your account.
If you need more help, you can always post them here. Take care!
Yes - I UNDERSTAND that the billing depends on the version and the number of employees. JUST READ AND ANSWER MY QUESTION, instead of re-iterating the same response without answering it.
Does Quickbooks know how much they will be charging me? It sounds like they don't. Please re-read my message, I asked for a way to be able to find out the charge WITHOUT having to call anyone (which maybe I should have specified contact via any means.) It is absolutely RIDICULOUS that anyone should have to contact Customer Support to find out the renewal charges. The best option to know more about my billing and subscription, IS FOR QUICKBOOKS TO INCLUDE IT IN THE RENEWAL EMAIL AND IN OUR ONLINE ACCOUNTS!!!
This is beyond aggravating.
I totally agree with this. They used to include the amount right in the renewal email. In fact both of them did. My renewal for Quickbooks and my renewal for payroll. I just received the renewal email last week for the quickbooks and it had the renewal amount in the email. Now I see that this renewal for payroll does not. I just need the amount to make sure I know what is coming out. I don't want to have to contact support for the information.
By the way, this method does not get me the information for the amount of the renewal either.
since qb is sending the e mail to me, they should have their i.t. programmed to tell me what my renewal will cost. Now i have to waste time going on line , calling or chatting. If Qb is sending me the e mail, their data should know my charge.

You are going to charge me.......what are you going to charge me? Is it a secret and charge first tell second. Thats ias why my user name is dentist with no time to call...I dont have time to deal with this...GIVE ME A SIMPLE ANSWER
Hi there, dentist with no time to call.
I appreciate you for coming back to the thread to add further details. Also, I can see how valuable it is for you to know about the possible charges in your payroll subscription. With this, I'll be sharing details to ensure you're able to see the info about the renewal charge.
There are several common charges for your monthly billing for payroll. Either for a monthly usage fee or an annual subscription. Then, there's a Customer Account Management Portal (CAMPs) in QuickBooks where you can sign in. With this, you can manage your accounts, products, contacts, billing, and user ID access. You can review charges, update your payment method, change a credit card, as well as update billing information and email addresses from there. That said, I suggest logging in to that account so you're able to see and check all the charges that may happen in your subscription.
Here's how:
For further details, you can click this article: Change, manage or update your Intuit account with CAMPs.
Please refer to this article to view detailed information on how you can renew your QuickBooks payroll subscription to make sure that you can turn it back on: Reactivate your QuickBooks Payroll subscription.

The point we are all trying to make, is that up until this year, we received an email for renewal for our Quickbooks & Payroll Services. The email had what we were buying and how much it would be. Now we have to go log in and try to find the amount or call customer service. No one has time to do that! Why can't you just do what you were doing before with the email notification and the amounts right in the email??? This back and forth is ridiculous. Read what we are saying and fix it PLEASE!
Just put the stinking renewal price in the email that is sent to the business like every other year!
Done!
Just put the price that will be charged in the e-mail as has been in the past!
Done!
I, too, am GREATLY FRUSTRATED with QuickBooks for NOT including the price in their renewal notification. I agree with others... What customer wants to pay first, THEN find out the cost?!? This HIDE-AND-SEEK inconvenience, plus the difficulty to even contact a REAL person for customer support, is enough to make me decide to find another accounting software!
This is not the impression we want you to have when receiving the renewal notification, @ugh5.
I can see the importance of seeing the price with the renewal notification. However, the Customer Account Management Portal (CAMPs) is designed to ensure you can manage your accounts, products, contacts, billing, and user ID access.
In addition to that, when reaching out to our support team, make sure you're contacting them within the support hours. After clicking Let's talk, you should have another option on how you want to connect with the support team. You can use this link for reference: Contact QuickBooks Desktop support.
