I'd like more info on the attorney you have involved. They've been holding over 9k of our money for a month now. The questions they are asking are absolutely ridiculous. I've talked to them repeatedly and every time I'm told the money is going to be released the next business day. The last alert I just got was my files were more than 30MB...which is total crap because I checked the size and none of them are near that! It seems like something very fishy is going on with them to be holding such large amount of funds from so many people. None of the questions are really fraud related. We do have another merchant that we were working with and never ever did we have to do any of this! We just want our money back!!!
Hello, just wondering if by chance you ever got this resolved and how long did it take and what did you have to do? Ive been on the phone having arguements everyday with QB they have been holding on to 20K and we literally cannot run our business, also do you still use them?
Yep holding a substantial amount of our money since 11/17. Waiting for this to be resolved so I can cancel my merchant account and continue to use Square as I never had an issue with them. Shame on me for giving Intuit a try.
I am having the same issue, they are clearly floating other peoples money.
Just wanted to update you all, quickbooks did release the funds finally after about 10 business days. All seems good!

Yep! They are holding my $5k for a week now. They are asking me for paperwork I do not have, do not need, am not required by the state to have and can’t even get. I will be closing my Acct as well when this is hopefully finally resolved! I am a small business and need my money! Can’t believe they can just hold funds like this.
Intuit Payments has been holding my money since early October. I have called to no avail at least 3 times a week and can't get anywhere. I've been told every time that someone would contact me by close of business, within 24-48 hours and I've never received a call - ever. I've lost a client and owe them the $15,000 that Intuit is holding. I'm trying to secure a loan to pay them off and am reaching out to an attorney to help me with this and will file a Consumer Complaint with the MD Attorney General's Office. This has gone too far. I read all these posts and complaints from other Intuit clients and I'm sick about it. I'm a QBOA - and this is how you treat us????? You have no problem putting companies out of business or creating such overwhelming distress by holding funds that don't belong to you? How can you do this? I don't understand how a company can be so cruel.
My funds have been held for over 40 days and I call daily and sit on the phone for over an hour each time , still no resolution, they requested a form on December 5th the form was given to them Dec 6th . They acknowledged the proper form and still have not released $5500, we are a small business and this is a desperate situation and everyday we get the same response, it’s been escalated but no action is taken. Absolutely horrendous experience

I’m on hold again with your support team, no one can help, again this has been since December 5th, how do I speak with the President? Or anyone who actually will release my funds, and why am I paying for this service if I can not access the most important parts? I’m on hold as we speak actually being told that I’m being transferred again

Concerning payments, we're obligated to protect the interests of all parties involved in the process. Thus, our Payment Management team works hard to ensure every transaction is secured and verified.
I’ve submitted a request to have our team review the case, and someone will reach out to you for a resolution. I recommend checking your emails associated with your QuickBooks account or your Community profile from time to time.

I’m on week three and everyone promises the money by a certain date then nothing. All our other payments came easily until this year.
Have any of y’all filed a lawsuit? I know going to court is not what we like to do but at this point reading these stories these are lawsuits they holding $4700 of mine and I’m filing a lawsuit Monday. SUE THEM!!!

Yes. My clients are paying my invoices and QB is HOLDING THE FUNDS "under review" and no resolution. No call after HOURS on chat to resolve. It is criminal and I am sending the information to the Attorney General of my state. this all started because one of my client's made a payment without sufficient funds in their account.

switched to QB a couple of weeks ago invoiced, client paid, now my funds are being held by QB.

Our company is having a similar experience and have been told that it’s because someone in the risk department FORGOT to go the extra step of removing a band control hold. We’re now left to PRAY (because they give you no other direct communication for resolution option) and are at 7 days holding time affecting two payrolls. They are essentially crippling our ability to conduct business because of an admitted error on their part!!! We have it in writing.

Their escalations mean nothing and have lengthened the process because of being done incorrectly - escalation to the wrong department, then restart the review process 24-48 hour time clock. They are essentially crippling our ability to conduct business because of an admitted error on their part!!! We have it in writing. I’m really wondering with seeing so many businesses having the same issue if this is something worthy of a class action case…
