Hello I am in need of some assistance.
For the first time I have attempted to add physical cash to my QuickBooks Checking Debit Card. I went by my local Walgreens store although they did have an Allpoint ATM I couldn't deposit cash so I went to the register and the employee was able to do a cash deposit at the register there was a $4.95 fee, I did get a receipt that the deposit was successful however the deposit has yet to show up in my account.
Since this is my first time, I don't know if it's an instant deposit, if it takes 3 to 5 business days. If anyone has any advice I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you.

In no way did you resolve the question asked. I'm assuming QB, as so many other tech companies have done, has chosen to dive head first into using AI, which in this case means artificial ignorance.
To recap, the OP wanted to deposit physical cash into their QB checking account. "Linking an external account" is NOT the answer in this situation.
I, as likely many others are of the assumption that since QB checking is technically a Green Dot service then we expect that this should be able to be done whereas Green Dot permits cash deposits at various retailers and certain ATM's.
A response from a live human concerning this question would be much appreciated.
Thank you, Athena55719, for your interest in seeking clarification on depositing physical cash in QB. I am here to provide you with information to clear this matter.
Currently, there is no direct way to deposit cash into QuickBooks checking account. While this option is unavailable, you can utilize the transfer feature to effectively move cash payments.
To successfully add cash to your QuickBooks Checking account, you must first link an external bank account. The cash payment should be deposited into this external bank account.
Once the cash is deposited, follow these steps to transfer funds from your external bank account to your QBO Checking account:
1. Go to Lending & banking, then select QuickBooks Checking.
2. Choose Transfer and then select Transfer Money.
3. Select Add a Bank. Enter your bank name, account type, and routing number.
4. When you're ready to connect, press the Next button.
5. Go to Lending & banking, then QuickBooks Checking.
6. Pick the Verify Bank.
7. Enter the two amounts deposited by QuickBooks. Choose Confirm.
This method involves an extra step but allows users to ultimately get the cash into their QBO checking account. It's important for users to note that they'll need to visit their external bank to make the initial cash deposit before they can transfer the funds to their QBO account.
