I have QB Desktop Pro Plus 2024. Have been using banking feeds a while now. Went to import Web connect file, now getting error message that says "You cannot use Bank Feeds because QuickBooks has not been registered. Solution: Go to the help menu and click on Register QuickBooks". The problem is that when I go to the help menu, there is no option to register QB. I have this product registered since I installed it. How can I fix this?
How about CAMPS as I mentioned earlier?
Thanks for taking the time to address the problem, dmroberts2. I’ll help you avoid the error you’ve encountered and make use of the bank feed section in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).
Please know you can utilize the QB Tool Hub to address the license and registration problem you encountered heading through the bank feeds. But before doing so, you'll want to set it up. You can follow these steps:
If you don't see the icon, you can utilize the Window's Search bar, and enter QuickBooks Tool Hub. For further guidelines, please see this page: Fix common problems and errors with the QuickBooks Desktop Tool Hub.
Once done, access QuickBooks and see if the bank feed section is usable. If needed, you can also get rid of the registration file and utilize the steps provided by our colleague above. We also recommend checking this article to help you address licensing issues: Fix activation, license, and product numbers issues.
If you continue to experience sync license data errors, you can also manually rename the entitlement data to solve the problem.
Here's how:
Once done, open QuickBooks and your company file and register it again.
After successfully importing the bank transactions, here's an article that will guide you in assigning categories to them: Add and Match Bank Feed Transactions in QuickBooks Desktop.
I'll always be ready to help you anytime. Feel free to let us know how it goes so we can get back to you and provide further assistance to resolve the error you encountered and access your bank feeds. Keep safe.
Have not been able to download my bank feeds into my QB Pro 2024 desktop which has worked since August 2023. Was on the phone with QB for 58 minutes and then 2 hours and 18 minutes today with no solution. Was on the phone with my bank for over 2 hours on last week and then today for 18 minutes. No one seems to know why it is not working and blames the other. Regions Bank is the bank but it works fine for different version of QB for my other client. I am at a lost and need this information downloaded as to the mass volume of it.

Last week, I initially got the code CL 221, I believe. I was told to disable the bank account which I did and I was told to update my QB. After the update, it locked QB and as soon as I logged in, there was an error message and I was immediately kicked out. After the first call today (58 minutes), we were told by qb it was our server so IT installed QB on an another server and we could open QB. The bank feeds would not link to Regions Bank (again, Regions Banks bank feeds works for another client on desktop enterprise). After speaking with 5 different customer service reps and each telling me something different, I was told it was a bank error. One rep said I had to upgrade to enterprise but when transferred to upgrade, I was told that QB destop Pro Plus 2024 worked with bank feeds and I didn't need to upgrade. I still can't add bank feeds. One rep was also trying to have me login to Regions and go through the manual process of downloading into QB but it would lock up each time in the Regions windows when downloading the bank statements. I didn't want the bank statements download but the transactions that I have always had download. I am at a loss and with it being year end and Christmas I don't have these hours to waste with no results.
It is locking up and will not link when the Manually Import Transactions screen is up. Sometimes, I can login to the bank website but it requires you to relogin several times. Usually on the 2nd or 3rd time of requiring me to do so, it will lock up.
I set up a new company as you suggest and still am having same issues as with my company file. Note above.

You don't need to upgrade. Run the Verify/Rebuild Data utility to isolate the problems. Any unresolved error message?
