Quickbooks Cash Checking Account Beneficial Owner

The Quickbooks Cash FAQ states the below. I do have a 50% co-owner, so how do I go about doing this? I would have mentioned it when signing up (don't remember that question being there, however). I don't see any place in the settings to specify this.

A beneficial owner is any individual with a significant ability to control, manage, or direct the legal entity and/or who owns 25% or more of it.

If you have a beneficial owner(s), you can tell us about them when you sign up. You don't have to fill out everything to finish the application. But we recommend you do it right away. You can come back to the Cash Flow menu later on to finish the form. You'll also receive email reminders.

You must submit your beneficial owner information within 30 days of signing up for QuickBooks Cash. If you don't, your account will be closed.

Quickbooks Cash Checking Account Beneficial Owner

Hello there, michael631.

Only master admins can sign up for QuickBooks Cash.  A beneficial owner is an individual with a significant ability to control, manage, or direct the legal entity and/or who owns 25% or more of it. This means you're a beneficial owner of the QuickBooks Cash if you have these roles.

Furthermore, we do not create a bank account under your name. The QuickBooks Cash account is only created once you sign up.

If you're paid through QuickBooks, the money is deposited on the bank account you've connected to receive payments.

My wife and I each own 50% of our company. I opened the Quickbooks Cash + Envelopes business checking account and was told I would have to add her as a beneficial owner within 30 days. I have tried and tried, through chat, phone, this community, spent countless hours and nobody has a clue how to do this. I was on the phone with one helpful woman for 90 minutes trying to chase it down, before the line suddenly "dropped." Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you. I guess now there's a bot that pops up if you try to get help and it's very persistent in trying to keep a user away from getting human help. It's really annoying. Why doesn't Intuit and other companies realize how offensive this is, and frustrating? I know human help costs more, but please don't make us fight you and waste time to get it when the cookie-cutter articles and links don't apply.

I did finally get to someone on the chat. At first he tried to get me to do the steps to simply add a new user in Quickbooks, and didn't seem to understand or be aware of this beneficial owner on the actual checking account.

He did consult with someone I guess and came back and said to have my wife log in as an admin and follow the steps at https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/process-credit-card-payments/sign-up-for-quickbook...

I've already done those steps, so I'm nervous about having her repeat them. I've been given information here that caused a lot of mess in my books, so I need to be sure. I don't want to end up with yet another checking account (this already created the Quickbooks Cash + Envelopes account, plus another "Temp Checking Account for Quickbooks Cash" (?????), and I also have two companies when I try to log into quickbooks, same name, which is very confusing, due to getting bad advice.

Also, I already added her at this link https://merchantcenter.intuit.com/msc/portal/userMgmt so would that be duplicative if she went through these steps? Why isn't this as simple as going to the "Manage this Account" link on the Quickbooks Cash + Envelopes page and clicking a link??
