I've got your back to help you find missing transactions on the banking page, @cheriwaneka.
To begin, let's update your bank account to bring in the transactions to QBO. Let me show you how:
If it's your first time connecting your online bank and credit card accounts, QuickBooks Online automatically downloads the last 90 days of transactions. If you don’t see some transactions from your bank, or can’t find ones you already downloaded, we can try to check the transactions under the banking tab.
Here's how:
For complete information about this process, please examine this article: What to do if you can’t find downloaded bank transactions.
If you need more than 90 days of transactions, you can export those missing historical transactions from the bank and upload them into your QuickBooks account. To do that, please refer to the steps found in this article: How to upload more than 90 days of bank transactions.
If the issue persists, I'd recommend reaching out to your financial institution. This is because QuickBooks is dependent on the information that was transferred from your bank.
In addition, here's an article that can help fix online banking concerns for your future reference: Fix online banking errors in QuickBooks Online.

Looking forward to your reply. Have a pleasant day ahead!
I'm having similar issue importing a full year of transactions in my QBO file. What are the instructions for a manual import of a QBO file using QB Desktop Pro edition? The instructions for the online version do not apply.
I want to ensure this will be taken care of, @sbelletti.

The steps you outlined in the other thread do not work. You can see my response in that one. Any other suggestions?
"I can confirm that my bank connection works as I am able to connect and download the latest transactions. I then tried to import my QBO that I created on my bank website containing all 2021 transactions. The import fails with an error message that it cannot connect to my financial institution. But since I know the connection itself works, I'm not sure what to do next.
I have also tried creating a QBO file for one month at a time rather than an entire year, and it still does not work. The only transactions that will connect and import are from September onwards. Any thoughts?"
Thank you for your prompt reply, @sbelletti. Let me share some ideas about missing transactions in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).
You need to disconnect from your bank feeds first so you can import your transactions using the QuickBooks Web Connect (.qbo) file. You can’t do both at the same time. What we can do is to manage the downloaded transactions first before disconnecting the bank account to avoid having duplicate transactions.
You can check out this article for a detailed step-by-step on how you can add and match bank feed transactions in QuickBooks Desktop.
Once done with adding or matching existing transactions, you can then set up bank accounts for bank feeds. Direct Connect and Web Connect are the two methods for creating an account. The method you use to connect is determined by the options available at your bank.
Here’s how you import using Web Connect (.qbo) files:
Take note that some banks allow you to specify a download date range. If your bank does not offer this feature, the first time you download, you will be given the maximum number of transactions available. Depending on the bank, this could be 30, 60, 90, or even more days.

I'm still receiving an error message.
I downloaded a .QBO file of all 2021 transactions from my bank. (Chase allows monthly QBO downloads as well as a full year).
I disconnected the existing bank feed in QB Desktop by deactivating all online services for that bank as per the instructions you sent. No transactions were waiting to be categorized.
I attempted to import the QBO WebConnect file using the instructions provided. I'm still getting an error message that QB cannot connect to my bank.
Any ideas?
I'd be glad to help provide some insights about the error you received, sbelletti.

I am NOT HAPPY. Your recommendation to update my Desktop Pro 2018 software has now removed ALL of my online bank feeds option and is forcing me to upgrade if I want to continue using that service. I do not want to upgrade. You did NOT tell me that bank feeds would no longer be supported. My issue is now worse as my other working feeds are now broken.
How do I revert back to my system before installing these updates?
Hello, sbelletti.
I would feel the same if I'm in your situation. Let me share some details on why you're getting this error.
We discontinued the services for QuickBooks 2018 (all editions) last May 31st, 2021. We do this to develop an easy and straightforward financial tools that is better and easier to use, while still supporting older versions.
Before the process, we notify you in advance (through the mail, email, in-product notifications, and this page) as services for older versions of QuickBooks Desktop are scheduled to be discontinued.
After the discontinuation date, you can still use the program, but updates and online services such as the Bank Feeds and payroll can no longer be used.
If you're interested to upgrade to a newer version of QuickBooks, you can check this article for details on the process: Upgrade to newer versions of QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus, Premier Plus, or Enterprise. Or, contact us to take advantage of special upgrade pricing.
To know more about QuickBooks Desktop service discontinuation, please feel free to read this link: QuickBooks Desktop service discontinuation policy and upgrade information.
Do let us know if you have any additional questions or concerns. We're here to help you out again. Take care.
HOW DO I ROLL BACK? I do not want to upgrade, nor do I want these "updates" that disabled my bank feeds that were working prior to the "update."
The whole point of this thread was to help get my bank feeds to work. Your so-called-help only broke the feed even further with an upgrade that you should have known did not support bank feeds at all. Now you expect me to pay for an upgrade? No, thank you.
Please provide me with instructions on how to revert back.
No replies? Anyone? How do I roll back so that at least my other bank feed works again.
Hi sbelletti,
Updating your QuickBooks and disconnecting your bank feeds are the general troubleshooting steps to resolve issues with importing transactions using a QBO file. However, these steps didn't fix the issue because your version of QuickBooks is no longer supported.
I understand how much you want your bank feed feature to work again. However, with changes in the system, the security requirements on the banks' side (not just Chase), etc., this situation will eventually happen. Everything is constantly updating, making older versions of QuickBooks obsolete and incompatible. Therefore, even a rollback, which is not an option, doesn't guarantee that your bank feeds will work again.
The good thing is you can enter your transactions in QuickBooks if you don’t want to upgrade. You can still make checks, bills, invoices, and even reconcile your bank transactions without the need for an upgrade. It will take time, but at least, you can still do the basic functions to run your business.
