For paychecks to calculate taxes correctly, make sure that you have the active payroll service and the payroll tax table is updated to the latest release.

To download the latest payroll tax table:

Payroll is not taking any taxes out of paychecks.

I appreciate you getting back to us and performing the troubleshooting steps share by my colleague above, @capecoralgm.

Since updating your payroll tax table and latest release didn't fix the issue, I recommend reverting the paycheck. This is to ensure that the payroll taxes are calculated accurately. Let me guide you through the steps.

  1. Go to the Employees menu.
  2. Select Payroll Center.
  3. Go to the Pay Employees tab.
  4. Click the Resume Scheduled Payroll button.
  5. Right-click the employee's name, then select Revert Paycheck.
  6. Submit payroll when you're ready.

Once done, you'll want to review the payroll taxes and make sure it's calculated correctly.

Here's an article you can read for more details: How to save or revert pending paychecks.
