Hello there, mikidzmimi24,

QuickBooks Online doesn't support Form 943. Thus, we're unable to let you pay the payroll taxes as well. You can pay and file directly to the IRS website.

You'll want to download the form from the IRS website and then run the Tax Liability Report in QuickBooks. Here's how:

  1. Go to theTaxes menu, and then select Payroll Tax.
  2. Click View your Tax Liability Report.
  3. Change the Date Range.
  4. Click Run Report

Furthermore, you can run payroll and activate direct deposit for your employees. You can read this article for the detailed steps: Set up your company payroll for direct deposit. Make sure to select QuickBooks Online Payroll.

How can I discontinue Quickbooks paying my payroll taxes each month, since I pay also into the 943.  IRS is not happy with me

Thank you for reaching out to us, @Farmers wife.

I'll make sure that you'll be able to discontinue QuickBooks from paying your taxes.

Follow these steps:

By default, form filing and automated tax payment are enabled. From February to December, you can turn this off to let you control your tax payments and form filing.

  1. Go to Settings ⚙ icon, then choose Payroll Settings.
  2. From the Taxes and forms section, tick the checkbox beside the Automate taxes and forms.
  3. Click Save.

After turning it off, you'll be able to see reminders in your payroll to-do list when your tax payments and form filings are due. See steps in Pay and file payroll taxes online to make a payment or file payroll taxes.

I'm adding this article for more tips and you can also get answers to your payroll tax payment and filing questions: Get answers to your payroll tax payment and filing questions.

Please know that I'm always here to help you if you have further questions about discontinuing automated tax payments. Just click on the Reply button below.
