Have you tried opening your account using an incognito/private browser? If not, we can open your QuickBooks using an incognito/private browser to determine if it's a browser issue.
The browser's cache saves files on your computer, enabling the website to download faster on your next visit. However, it can also become outdated, leading to website access problems.
We can open your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account on an incognito window. Doing so will prevent the browser history from being saved.

You were using QB Desktop 2012 but offered QB Online Essentials. Those are 2 different products. Do you still need to run QB Desktop on your new machine or convert your data to QB Online?
It says I need to update my quickbooks but when I click to update it says error 1636 ,. I have renewed my subscription and paid why won't it let me in?

Which QB Desktop year version do you have?
After I inserted a CD to back up QB, it ran a re-build. Then it said I had errors, to contact support for help.
Run the Verify/Rebuild Data utility two or three times to make sure. If you encountered the same error message, you file is corrupted, You can purchase a 3rd party service to fix it.

Normally you'd use your Verify Data utility initially, before running a rebuild. This tool identifies known issues within company files.
Here's how to verify company data:
In the event its results show a "Your data has lost integrity," message, this indicates there's damage in your file. You can use the Rebuild Data utility to fix it. For specific errors, there may already be a resource for them on our support site. If it displays a "QuickBooks detected no problems with your data," notification, it means there were no issues found in the company file.
After you're doing utilizing your Verify and Rebuild utilities, you can proceed with creating the manual backup.
