It's also important to note that support for QuickBooks Desktop 2018 ended on May 31, 2021. As a result, an activation problem may occur as older versions of the software may no longer be compatible with Intuit’s servers.

To address this issue, here are a few steps we can take:

1. Verify Your License and Product Information:
   • Double-check your purchase confirmation email or the sticker on your QuickBooks installation CD case for the correct license and product details.
   • If you purchased the software directly from Intuit, log in to the Customer Account Management Portal (CAMPS) to confirm your details.
2. Confirm Date and Time Settings:
   • Ensure your computer's date, time, and time zone are correct, as inconsistencies can interfere with the software’s activation process.
3. Reset the License State:
   • You can reset the license state in QuickBooks Desktop to resolve activation issues.

Currently, we're unable to provide a validation code for outdated versions of QuickBooks Desktop. When you use an outdated software, this can create inefficiencies, security risk, and compliance challenges. To resolve this, you can upgrade to the latest version. This will ensure you remain eligible for validation codes, retain access to Intuit services, benefit from the latest security enhancements, and take advantage of the newest features designed to streamline your workflows.

Alternatively, you may want to consider  moving from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online. QBO offers the flexibility to securely access your account from any device whether it's a desktop, laptop, tablet, or even smartphone. At the same time, you're no longer tied to a specific computer or office location, enabling you to manage your business on the go.

Since you're using the QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) 2022 version, please note that Intuit no longer provides codes for products that are no longer supported or were not activated within their supported lifecycle.
