cancel payroll subscription

My payroll subscription automatically renewed in February, and I was unable to negotiate a lower rate with support, so I purchased QB desktop 2019 w/enhanced payroll and would like to install that and get a refund for the renewal. Unfortunately, they seem to be closed on weekends, so I'd like someone to assist with this. Thanks!

I can help you get the QuickBooks Desktop and payroll installed, bigles72.

 

If you have the license and product number, you can download and install the program. Please refer to this article for the step-by-step instructions: 

Install QuickBooks Desktop.

 

After installing QuickBooks, you can now activate the payroll service. Here are the steps:

  1. Click Employees, select Payroll, and select Enter Service Key.
  2. If you have an existing payroll subscription, you are prompted to specify if you want to add this file to your payroll subscription.
    Select Skip to go to the Service Key window, or Add File to add this file to an existing Payroll subscription.
  3. Select Add.
  4. Enter the service key, and select Next. A confirmation message appears.
  5. Click Finish.

No, my question is not AT ALL about installing/upgrading QB. My question is about canceling payroll on a weekend.

Hi bigles72,

 

You can visit the Customer Account Management Portal Site (CAMPS), look for your payroll subscription in the products list, and cancel it. However, you will also need to contact our Chat agents to activate the payroll you bought since you already have an existing account. I suggest doing the cancellation with our agents since you'll need to contact them anyway.

  2. Choose Account.
  3. Click on Chat with us.
