Glad to see you in the Community space, @rlzksteam.

Transferring QuickBooks Self-Employed data into TurboTax  isn't available yet. Rest assured that this will be ready by mid-January.

In the meantime, you can check this article for the other tasks you can do to prepare your taxes: QuickBooks Self-Employed - Annual taxes guide.

Do let me know if you have follow-up questions. I'm here and ready to help. Have a great day!

Is there a problem for Turbotax users (Self-employed) when trying to sign up for the free Quickbooks Self-employed. Seems to be related to the comment from the moderator about this integration not being available until Mid-January

Thanks for joining in on the thread, Matrix_33.

Yes, the integration option wasn't available until mid of January. After that, the updates have been released and the users were able to integrate their QBSE data with TurboTax.

Currently, we haven't received any report issues regarding the integration process. Hence, we'll do a few troubleshooting steps.

  1. Go to this link: https://selfemployed.intuit.com/turbotax.
  2. Log in using your TurboTax credentials.

From there, you should be able to integrate your QBSE data with TurboTax.

Otherwise, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care Team about this. They can refresh your account and make the integration process goes through smoothly.

Let us know how this goes so we can help you in another way. Additional details about ti would be much appreciated.

Hi there, TP15.

I see that you're unable to transfer your data from QuickBooks to TurboTax. As my colleague shared above, we should be able to integrate QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) data with TurboTax.

We'll have to log in to your QuickBooks Self-Employed account and TurboTax with the same sign-in credentials. Once logged in, make sure your information in QuickBooks is final. With that, I would recommend checking and reviewing your data before sending them to TurboTax.

If you haven't followed the things below, you can try importing your data to Turbox by following these steps. Here's how:

  1. Within the QBSE account, click Tax checklists.
  2. Select Review and Send Tax Summary.
  3. Review all details. This is important since you can only send your information once.
  4. Once ready, click the Send to TurboTax button below.
  5. Then, select It's OK to send my info to send your information to TurboTax.

Here's a sample screenshot:

For further details, you can check this article: How do I import QuickBooks data into TurboTax Business?. Though, I encourage getting in touch with TurboTax specialist to guide and help you further in the process of transferring data from QuickBooks to their platform. They'll also help us figure out why integration with TurboTax is not working on your end and be able to get these things done as soon as possible.

If you still have questions about this, please don't hesitate to post them in the Community space. I hope everything goes well. Take care.

I'm having trouble with this as of March 25, 2021. I also do not see a way to export my Quickbooks information to TurboTax!

I'm here to help you export your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) data and TurboTax (TT).

As my colleague SarahannC mentioned above, let's ensure that your QBSE and TT are the same log-in credentials. This way, you're able to export the data without any problems.

Here's how to check:

  1. Go to https://accounts.intuit.com.
  2. Sign in using your existing credentials.
  3. Choose the Sign In & Security tab on the left side.
  4. Review the information.
  5. Login to your TurboTax then verifies the credential.

Once confirmed and the issue keeps going, I'd recommend accessing your account through incognito. These browsers won't collect any cache and cookies. This way, we can check if it's a browser-related issue.

Here are the shortcut keys:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P

Once logged in, go to the Tax checklist link next to your profile⚙ icon to verify if it's already working suitably. You can visit this article for the complete steps: Send QuickBooks Self-Employed tax info to TurboTax Self-Employed or Live.

If you're able to do so, please go back to your usual browser and clear the cache to speed up your browsers. Using other supported browsers is a good alternative too.

To resolve data unable to transfer, check out this page for the complete troubleshooting steps: Quickbooks-Self Employed data won't transfer to TurboTax Self-Employed.

If you have further questions about exporting data, feel free to let me know in the comment section. I'm happy to answer all of them. Be safe.
