I have paid and filed with TurboTax self-employed already. I followed the link you provided, however, my QBSE subscription is still $25 a month, how do I activate my FREE QBSE subscription with the TurboTax Self-Employed package I have already paid for? How do I overwrite the $25 a month subscription I am being charged?

I have the same problem. Been using the self-employed quickbooks and turbotax. Paid for turbotax Fed & State yesterday, but maybe I paid for the wrong product? I wanted to continue the bundle. Do I just resubscribe after filing? Haven't filed yet but will in a day or two.
Hi Mobileyarn,
Do you also have the free QuickBooks Self-Employed account? If so and if your free subscription of QuickBooks Self-Employed is ending soon, you can continue using it by upgrading your account to a paid subscription.
If you've already manually filed your taxes, you can resubscribe to the paid subscription of QuickBooks Self-Employed and TurboTax Self-Employed bundle. The next time you sign in to QuickBooks Self-Employed you'll be asked to subscribe to continue using your account. Just select the subscribe option and then choose which subscription you’d like. Enter your billing details and then you’re all set to continue managing your transactions and books.
With the bundle, you can seamlessly send QuickBooks Self-Employed tax info to TurboTax Self-Employed or Live.
Let me know if you have othe questions. Have a good one!
I have been informed by support at Quickbooks that the free online version of Quickbooks Self-Employed is no longer being offered when you pay to file with Turbotax. Beginning May 1, 2021, we'll need to pay for the Turbotax and Quickbooks self-employed "bundle" to continue using the two. This option includes filing one federal and one state return. Not including any discounts, it looks like the least expensive option is $300 per year. That more than double what I paid to file my taxes and get the free Quickbooks package, so now I'm trying to decide if it's worth continuing.
So unless the rep with whom I chatted and the three emails I've received from Quickbooks saying my free subscription ends April 30, 2021, have given me incorrect information, the two replies here stating that the complimentary version is still available are wrong.
I am ready to purchase the Self Employed QB bundle + Turbotax Sel Employed. Unfortunately, when. I go to Profile, Billing, the screen goes blank and I cannot purchase. $25/month? I have tried 10+ times today and koind of tired of using my times this way. Anyway, I would love to work this out before be account is cancelled, and my years of previous data is lost due to non-payment. Any ideas, since the phone help didnt really know what to do next.
I know that this has never been easy for you, Mobileyarn.
I'll make sure that you can subscribe to the Self Employed QB bundle + Turbotax Sel Employed.
Unusual behavior like this occurs when the browser accumulates too many internet files. Let's performed some troubleshooting steps to fix it.
Start with, accessing your account in an incognito window. This helps us check if you're experiencing a browser-related issue.
If it looks good, close the incognito window then go back to the normal browser. Then, you'll have to clear the cache to get rid of the stored junk files. Also, you can use other supported browsers to further isolate the issue.
If the issue persists, I'd suggest reaching out to our QuickBooks Self-Employed support. They'll be able to pull up your account and help you with the subscription.
Adding the guide here on the thing you need to do before the subscription expires.

How do I get a one-year complementary membership? I plan on filing as self-employed for the first time this year, and I’ve been working at this job for about three months. I was already thinking about getting a monthly membership after I filed, but if I can get a free year of self-employed with the ability to pay directly from the app each quarter, then I will definitely choose you guys.
Thanks for following this thread, jerbee02.
Let me provide some information about the bundle subscription for QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).
If you’re a new Turbo Tax customer and don’t have a QBSE account, you’ll be given 30 days free trial to use the self-employed program. While those who have an existing QBSE account, the one-year free filing with Turbo Tax is no longer available.
