I am going through the ProAdvanced certification. In the learning module, it discusses the new PC Desktop App. It shows that to find it, you click on the ⛮ icon. However, when I click on it, the option to download the App is not showing.

I'll share some insights about QuickBooks Online (QBO) Desktop App.
The QBO Windows and Mac desktop apps are no longer supported since April 20, 2021. Thus, downloading the app isn't available. Due to limited use, we stopped supporting these app and invest in other features that matters to your business.

Two things.
1. I am already certified Pro Advanced.
2. The recertification learning module describes a NEW feature in QBO 2022. This NEW feature is a NEW Desktop App. I suggest you do some internal research on this NEW feature.

When downloading the app, please take note of these system requirements:
If you still don't see the option, I suggest logging into your account using a private browser or incognito mode. Private browsing prevents cookies from being stored on your computer, making it a great place to identify browser issues. Use these keyboard shortcuts:
If it works, you’ll have to go back to your regular browser and clear the cache to improve the program's performance. You can also use other supported browsers as an alternative and roll out the possibility of a browser-related issue.
If the issue persists, I suggest reaching out to our QBO Accountant and ProAdvisor Support. This way, they'll be able to do further investigation into this behavior and can open an investigation ticket if necessary.

I do have a 64 bit machine.
I logged on "incognito" as you suggested. Still no option to download the app.
I am surprise you can't just send me a link to download.
The article you sent me is useless if I can't download the App.
Question for you: If I have QBO accountant, I believe I am automatically getting the Advanced version. I could not confirm that in "account and subscriptions".
Thank you in advance if you can escalate this, as I am sure I am not alone.

Allow me to join in this conversation and help you with your Desktop App concern in QuickBooks.
As mentioned, QuickBooks Online Windows and Mac desktop apps are no longer supported as of April 20, 2021. That means you'll no longer be able to download, receive customer support for, or receive software updates and bug fixes to the apps after April 20th. Your QuickBooks Online account is not affected and you can sign in through the app or a browser.
Once your browser no longer supports your app, we recommend accessing QuickBooks Online (QBO) through your preferred browser by signing in at qbo.intuit.com

Unfortunately, like some of the previous EMPL that responded, you are not reading the thread. You are also not aware the Intuit, in QBO 2022 has brought back the Desktop App. So just responding for the sake of a response is not productive nor helpful.
