You have QB Desktop Mac 2019 with a non subscription license. You can still run it on Sequoia. Why do you have to upgrade?

Thank you for asking. I have "researched" online regarding updating OS to Sequoia and its compatibility with QB Mac Desktop 2019. The reviews are mixed; some say all is well, and others say that they are having problems with QB that were not there with Sonoma. I am quite torn about this. I would *love* feedback, reviews, sharing of experiences from this QB community about this precise thing. Thank you, QB people!  

You are right. My clients are having random minor issues in 2019 and 2020. 2021 is still running perfectly so far. You should contact Fiat Lux. If you are lucky and don't need to run any add-ons, you can get a 2021 license from them.

How do I get a 2021 license for Mac? What is the process. When I asked them about 2019, they offered a work-a-round that would reset the counter after 15 times. Would that still be the same for 2021?

I have the same concern. I can no longer use my 2021 version due to a 3371 error. QB won't help me fix it so it seems I'm stuck buying a newer version.

Yes, I was able to get the license code but the representative could not / would not help me to troubleshoot my account since it's 3 years old. I have an active license.

Having a license code is not enough. As long as you can't login to CAMPS and find your license code there, their Support team won't bother to help you. You can use the trial version of QB Desktop 2021 Pro as a workaround.

Greed.  They want to take more money from you.  If they can not force you to pay every year then it apparently makes the corporation mad.  Kind of a racket, because they know they have you over a barrel.  

I agree and I get popups every time I open the software. Running desktop 2020 and get very annoyed and irritated with constant popups. It won't make me purchase a subscription service but it will make me find another software package without this type of activity. Definitely not user-friendly.

What subscription service do you mean?

All quickbooks have now gone to subscription service. I refuse to upgrade for that reason. I am using 2020 desktop but keep getting the popup ads. Threy need to stop that because these popups will not make me upgrade to a subscription service for quickbooks.
