Hello, Can you help

Hi there, Uran!

It's good to know that you already have the requirement. I'll guide you to sign up (apply) for a QuickBooks Payments (Merchant) account.

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online and click on the Gear icon.
  2. Choose Accounts and settings and select Payments.
  3. Select Learn more in the QuickBooks Payments section.
  4. Enter the required details and hit Submit.

You'll get an email from QuickBooks when your application is approved. It usually happens in a few days.

This article shares a lot of information about processing payments in QBO: Take and process payments in QuickBooks Online.

If you have questions in the future, just go back to this thread.

Hello, Can you help

Hi there,

I thank you very much for your quick reply, Yes it is actually that my problem after I hit submit to submit the application I do get a Notification Messages saying Try back later again, this is due to that I entering my ITIN Number in the field where it says SSN.

Do you have the possibilities to sign up a merchant like myself with a EIN (Federal Tax ID/Employer Identification Number) and ITIN (Individual Tax Identification Number) to manually sign up eg. form?

I thank you very much for your help and your answers in advance!

Best regards, Stay Safe and well,

Hello, Can you help

Hi contact-paxesecu!

Let me assist you in signing up for QuickBooks Payments.

There are two ways on how to sign up. The first is through the QuickBooks Payments website or through the Gear icon, then the Payments tab.

Upon signing up, your business info needs to be verified like your business type and EIN. Currently, we don't offer a manual process like a paper form.

We can perform some troubleshooting steps to fix the error you encountered. Start by using an incognito window and submit the application from there.

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift + N
  • Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl Shift P

Also, clear the cache since it fixes issues in QuickBooks Online too. Lastly, make sure that you're using a supported and up-to-date browser.

If this behavior continues, please reach out to our Payments Team for further assistance.

  1. Click the (?) Help icon and enter Talk to a human (then type it again when prompted).
  2. When asked by the bot, enter "Sign Up for QuickBooks Payments".
  3. Select I still need a human, then proceed with Contact us or Get help from a human.
  4. Choose either Chat or Callback.

Here are the next steps after signing up for QuickBooks Payments.
