I need to cancel my subscription. I have tried to do this several times.
First, you can't navigate the site for help. This is ridiculous. Next, the price that you guys charge for this stuff, there should be REAL people to. help. I worked for a company that used Quickbooks. I was the payroll and office manager. I LOVED Quickbooks. Most companies improve their software etc. You guys have gotten much worse. Please CANCEL
Thank you,
Lbchef75
You will need to contact Intuit/ QB directly. No one here has access to your account, and you don't want them to.
***You can cancel your account by following these steps.
Sign in as an Admin to your QuickBooks Online account
You are able to resubscribe to the same account within 12 months of the day you cancel.
MAKE SURE YOU GET A CONFIRMATION EMAIL, OTHERWISE, IT DIDN"T CANCEL AND QB WILL CONTINUE TAKING YOUR MONEY.

I subscribed for approximately 3 hours today. Was unable to upload my company data. Then found out if I have more than one company I will need to pay a subscription for each company. I’ve been using Quickbooks desktop for 10 years. This new business model is a ripoff. Intuit is trying to blackmail us into buying multiple monthly subscriptions by cutting off our ability to import our bank statements. I’m switching to Wave.

You can still purchase the one time license for QB Desktop 2021 to upgrade your outdated QB Desktop version.

Yes, and I'm sure this would be helpful IF THERE WERE A GEAR ICON AT THE TOP RIGHT OF MY ACCOUNT PAGE.
Welcome to the thread, @DanaHS.
The steps provided by my colleague above are the steps for QuickBooks Online (QBO). Since you've mentioned that you don't have a gear icon on your end, you may be using QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).
To cancel your QBDT account, here's how:
I'm adding this adding article for more guidance: Cancel your QuickBooks Desktop Subscription.
However, if you're using QuickBooks Online (QBO) and the gear icon button is unavailable, can you try logging in via incognito mode or private window. This way, it confirms if the cache is the cause.
Here's how:
Once login, try cancelling your account by following the steps provided by @Just_me. You may also use this resource as a reference: To give you more insights about canceling a QuickBooks account, please visit these links: Cancel your QuickBooks Online subscription or trial.
