In my experience with other versions, this software feature of emailing my customers their invoices stops working once the 3 years are up. They have this market cornered and its unfortunate that they keep trying to milk the same cow (pun intended). I wish they would just upgrade to the 2024 desktop version and charge a nominal fee, eventually they will loose customers that refuse to pay these new insane prices for new digital versions.
Hello, I purchased a QBooks Desktop Pro 2024 non subscription from a retailer like you suggested but after installing it on 5/22/2024 Intuit kept sending me pop-up screen saying my Qbooks version will expire in 7 days and will be in read-only mode. I contacted Intuit and they insisted the my new license was not valid and illegal although I downloaded in through Inuit website with key and license number being accepted and my Qbooks was working fine. Intuit insisted that I had to purchase 2024 version for $695.00 per year and stuck with a yearly subscription at $695.00. This is different than what I am reading in your post and find it hard to understand how Intuit can charge subscription fees every year at such a high price. I hope you can help me clear this up
I appreciate all your efforts in dealing with this, Kiron. I understand how hard it must be for you dealing with this issue about your license.
I'm here to provide information about the QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) subscription-based and stand-alone product.
Currently, QBDT is now a subscription-based service with annual license renewal. It no longer offers a lifetime license like the previous version and is no longer a stand-alone product.
It seems that you have purchased a standalone product of QBDT Pro 2024 from your retailer. I recommend reaching out to your retailer for further information on why your license will expire in 7 days.
As much as I'd love to help you with this, we're unable to check your account here in the Community space for security reasons. That said, I also recommend contacting our support team again for further assistance and verification of your subscription or license.
Here's how:
For reference, you can check this article: Contact QuickBooks Desktop support
I'll add this article to learn more about new features available in QBDT 2024: What's new in QBDT 2024
You can always get back to this thread if you have follow-up concerns about the QBDT subscription-based or anything else related to QuickBooks. The Community is here to help you out, Kiron.

Only scammers offer QB Desktop 2024 Pro Plus and Premier Plus with non-subscription licenses. You should contact the scammer and ask for a refund. Unless they're gone. Then you can purchase a legit license through a reputable partner + you can get cashback.
That is supposed to be true, but I am locked out of my quickbooks desktop Pro 2021 - it will not accept my password. And given that 2021 is no longer supported, I'm screwed. I have backed up all my info, but am searching desperately for a stand alone upgrade to 2024
Can you login to CAMPS as Primary Contact and fine your license code there? You will be able to reset the Admin password. Another option, you can purchase a 3rd party password reset service, Contact Fiat Lux for assistance.
Thanks for joining the thread, Psniemeyer. Let me provide details and guide you on resetting your password in your QuickBooks Desktop Pro 2021 version.

If you don't see your code in your inbox, check your spam and junk folders.
On the other hand, please be advised that Intuit no longer provides a one-time license for the QBDT version that remains valid for three years (e.g., from 2024 to 2027). However, there is now the option to opt for a monthly or yearly subscription plan for a supported desktop edition, such as the 2024 version, to ensure continued access to the program and its features.
You can visit our QuickBooks page or contact our Sales Department to sign up for QBDT 2024 (Pro Plus or Premier Plus). Here's how to reach out to our support team:

Do you have any more information about the $100 cash back?
You should contact @Fiat Lux - ASIA for details.
In order to manually download bank and credit card transactions?
I currently have QB Desktop Pro 2021 and cannot do so as of May 31st. I download the OFX file and when I try to import it says " no longer....."
The discontinuation of QuickBooks products makes certain features unavailable, @Stever5045. Allow me to explain further about the features that will no longer be accessible.
Aside from not receiving critical security updates and live technical support, you will also lose access to the bank feeds feature. This means you won't be able to import an OFX file of your bank transactions to QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).
To continue using QuickBooks Desktop's banking features, you may consider purchasing a newer version subscription. If you're interested in buying the Pro and Premier versions, you can contact our sales team at the phone number at the top right of this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/.
Additionally, you can refer to these articles for the system requirements of each year's version:

You can use an importer tool as a workaround. It's a $199 one time license and you can get $100 cashback to purchase it through a partner.

Is Fiat Lux Asia legit?
Yes. Any specific concern?
does anyone know anything about Plusbay plus
this one?
https:// plusbay.plus
They must be scammers. Intuit no longer offers perpetual licenses as of QB Desktop 2022. You can try buying from this seller and they won't dare mention CAMPS.
Obviously intuit is in "Maximize Revenue and the Hell with what the Customers want" mode. What is an alternative so we can dump the money grubbers? I have been a QB user for a few decades but this thinly veiled theft is too much to take.
Which QB Desktop year version do you have now?
Do you need to run any add-ons? e.g payroll, merchant service
2021. all I need is the bank download but I guess I could live without it.
I have Desktop pro 2021 . I use it only for bookkeeping, small office. Need to import bank and credit card transactions. I would appreciate your input
How about his one?
You can use an importer tool as a workaround. It's a $199 one time license and you can get $100 cashback to purchase it through a partner.

Thanks so much for the info. I purchased it Friday and spent some time with their help desk. The csv files don't come in from Chase bank with the necessary parameters; they refunded me the purchase price
Thanks! That should do it.
"We're here to help you" says the QB team member........ IF you really wanted to help your customers, you would offer a QuickBooks Desktop Pro 2024 stand-alone version, no subscription necessary. When you give the customers what they want at an affordable price, THAT is helping them.
Agree completely - and I just found out that they are no longer offering "Basic Payroll" - I have only 2 employees and I will be required to buy Enhanced Payroll - which is approx. $550 per year + monthly charge per employee. About $300 more per year. I've had QB for over 20 years and am EXTREMELY unhappy with how they are gouging the small business.
