Deactivating Bank Feeds in QuickBooks desktop requires no transactions waiting to be added to that account. As long as there are still downloaded transactions in your Bank Feeds that are not yet added to QB register, deactivating that account from Bank Feeds is not possible.
You have two options to remove those transactions.
If you opt to delete the downloaded transactions, then, you can mark it all and hit ignore. You can also switch to Register Mode and delete it from there. You can do that by selecting the downloaded file and delete it.

Hey Thanks for the information about deleting the transactions.
Unfortunately, I do not have a bank feed settings tab for that account for some reason. Some accounts have it, some do not. I created a new Credit card account and connected the bank feed and it worked fine. Even gave me the tab you're referring to with the options to edit the bank feeds.
But the one I need to stop does not have that tab in the edit account screen. It is a bank account. Not sure if that makes a difference or not.
If there is no bank feed settings tab, maybe it's imported web-connect file only.
Will web connects still have the lightning bolt symbol?
Hi Numbers23,
An imported WebConnect file will not have the lightening bolt icon in the chart of accounts, as this symbol indicates a bank feed is set up.
I posted a reply in January asking for info with a similar problem. Still no response from Intuit!

Great except it won't work on my QuickBooks Pro 2019 installation! When I try to disable the bank feed by selecting "Deactivate All Online Services" then clicking on "Save & Close" QB responds with a dialog that says "You must enter a value for all of the fields on the Online Services tab."!!!!!!!!! Of course this is maddening since technically there is no "online Services tab" on the Edit Account page!!!
Thanks for bringing this to our attention, mgrantom.
Let's work together so you can disable bank feeds in QuickBooks Desktop.
I've tested out a few things on my end and looks to be ok. Meanwhile, we can try running the Verifying and Rebuild tool in QuickBooks Desktop. This will help us identify the common data issues within your company file.
Before doing this, let's secure a backup of your company file before performing the troubleshooting steps. You can refer to this article to know more about creating a backup copy of your company file in QuickBooks: https://community.intuit.com/articles/1436816.
Once done, you can now start to verify and rebuild your QuickBooks.

Otherwise, we can resolve this by re-sorting list. If you have manually changed the order of a list, re-sorting it will also undo your changes. Please refer to this link for the steps: Re-sort lists.
If you continue having the same message, I suggest you get in touch with our QuickBooks Technical Support Team. They have the necessary tools to help investigate the cause of this issue.

I'm done using bank feeds and need to clean it up to disable bank feeds. There are a lot of unmatched transactions that go back years that are not matched to the register. I don't want to affect any balances in the registers, so if I match the unmatched entries to the register, will that cause any problems or will it just clear out the unmatched entries?
Thank you for joining the thread, @LisaNTC.
You may need to match downloaded transactions in QuickBooks so you can tell what transactions your Financial Institution has processed and which ones have not cleared the bank yet. You can also tell if your Financial Institution has processed any transactions that aren't in QuickBooks, so you can add them on your records.
If you agree with the match QuickBooks made, you don't need to do anything else with this transaction. The matches will be added to your register when you click Finish Later. If you don't agree with the match, unmatch the transactions. The status will be changed to unmatch.
Since you wanted to disable your bank feeds, you may need to match those unmatched transactions, however, there's a possibility that balances will change. For additional reference, you may check this: Add and match Bank Feed transactions.

After upgrading from QB2016 to QB2019 I am no longer able to import any *.qbo file from my bank. QB2019 prompts me to create new account. Searching for solution I landed on this page. Unfortunately, QB2019 crashes when I click Save & Close. It will not turn off the feed.
Hi there, gigpatel.
It's possible there's a damaged data in your company file causing this unusual behavior in QuickBooks. You can run the QuickBooks File Doctor Tool to fix any damaged company file. If the same thing happens, you can check out this article for more troubleshooting option: QuickBooks File Doctor - Fix your Damaged Company File or Network.
Then, try importing Web Connect (.qbo) files again into your software. If you encounter any issues or error message, you can refer to this article to troubleshoot the problem: Troubleshoot Bank Feeds Web Connect import issues and errors.
Feel free to reply to this thread if you need anything else in QuickBooks Desktop.
I have tried all the above steps, and QB is still crashing when I try to disable Bank Feeds.
The Verify and Rebuild utility tells me that it is unable to fix the garbage routing numbers in the Bank Feeds area of all 6 accounts.
Please help! There is too much data to hand-enter it all in and not download.
Using QB Pro 2019 (desktop)
Thanks!
Julie
Thanks for joining this conversation, Washapples.
Since performing the rebuild and verify data utilities was unable to fix the garbage routing numbers, I highly suggest contacting our Phone Support team. They're able to check your account using their screen-sharing (remote access) tool in a secure environment and further investigate the issue. They can also perform other troubleshooting steps if necessary.
Refer to this article for the detailed steps on how to reach them: Contact the QuickBooks Desktop Customer Support Team.

And NO ONE on chat support has an answer. One chat person assured me that when I upgraded to QB Pro 2020, my issue would be fixed. I've been chatting with a guy now for 2 1/2 hours + and I've gotten nowhere getting this issue fixed. One bank feeds bank account now has an erroneous acct and routing number. I've attempted to export iif file and make corrections but when importing I get failure error notifications requiring values in OL services field but no one can tell me what those should be. They do however, offer to sign me up for support at additional cost, after I just splashed out $400 for the new software that didn't fix the issue.
Hello, @bahamabreeze.
Let me share some information on how you can make sure that your connected bank account has the accurate information.
First, we've received reports from our customers about the errors they've received in importing iif file to QuickBooks. As of this time, our Product Engineers are currently investigating and working on an immediate fix.
On the other hand, let's first disconnect your connected bank account. Here's how:
Once completed, let's start to verify and rebuild your QuickBooks. This will isolate the issue for a possible data damage.

Once completed, you can reconnect the account to QuickBooks.

Had to send in file to QB tech support to fix account number error. Took them less than 48 hours and I had the file back and it works just fine now.
Were you ever able to get this fixed? I am having this exact issue after "upgrading" to QB2020
