Hello, hanfung1.
I'd like to point you to the right direction regarding the whereabouts of the W-2 forms for your employees.
We'll check your account and find out the whereabouts of the W-2 forms and their tracking details. You'll want to contact our support agents to do this.
Our agents will be able to check the status of the W-2s and ensure your employees will receive them. Here's how to reach them:
If you're using the Workforce service and the latest W-2 forms and paychecks are already available digitally, you can share this article with your employees: View your paychecks and W-2s in QuickBooks Workforce.
Do you have other tasks like checking your liabilities, other forms and your managing your employees? Check out the articles in our articles list page for QuickBooks Online Payroll (all versions).
I'll gladly offer help again if you have other questions regarding your payroll account. Would like assistance on the general areas in QuickBooks? Please let me know and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.
I have auto forms set up in payroll and my employees haven't received their W-2 forms in the mail. I have contacted support by phone two times and been assured that they are in the shipping department or have been sent. We are way past the IRS requirement for employee W-2 forms to be mailed and received. What can I do about this?
I'm here to take care of your concern today, @nemd.
As mentioned by my colleagues above, once you've enabled the Automate taxes and forms when setting up payroll, the W-2s would have been mailed to your employees’ home addresses via USPS starting January 20 through January 31.
I can see that you've already connected with our designated support. Since your employees still don't receive a copy of their forms up until this time, you can reach out to our Support Team again for further verification. A live representative can access your account securely, review the previous cases you had, and confirm the mailing of the forms.
Let me know if you have any other follow-up questions. I'm just a post away to help. Have a good one!
Hi you sent a W2 to a past employee who notified us today that he moved can i generate another w2 to send to the corrected address
You're unable to correct the employee's address once the W-2 is submitted in QuickBooks, kim hind.
Aside from the employee address, there are other two things that can't be corrected.
You need to create and file a W-2c form with the Social Security Administration manually. To do this, see the General Instructions for Forms W-2c and W-3c section in General Instructions for Forms W-2 and W-3.
Once settled, you can enter the new address of the employee. That way, it will reflect on the next tax return.
Here's how to update the address.

NO they don't. And our employees have an awful time trying to access W-2s through the workforce app. You end up doing it by email or postal mail
No
I do it thru quick books and mail to employees.
Is there an additional fee for mailing W2's to employees? Or is this included in the subscription (provided you are using Core, Premium, Elite, Full Service, or Assisted Payroll)?
I had auto pay turned off..can I turn it in now and quick book will efile and mail W2 out?
Welcome to the thread, @Muddersherrie. I'd be happy to answer your question about automatic tax payments.
Once automatic tax payments and form filings are turned on, Intuit will file and process your tax payments. But if you're using QuickBooks Online Payroll Core, local taxes are not automatically calculated. If you're thinking about automating those payments, consider upgrading your payroll service.

When does QBO elite payroll service send out the W2s? How can I confirm they have been sent? None of my employees or former employees have received them.
