Thanks for posting here, @apickens2,
Allow me to share some insights about this problem. The Workforce error "We weren't able to show your payroll info", is currently tagged as an ongoing issue for QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online. Our engineers are working internally with the fixes so we can't provide the exact turnaround time on when this will be resolved.
We instead send live updates about the status of the investigation through email. To add your account to the notification list, please contact our Support Team.
Live Support are available from 6:00 AM until 6:00 PM on weekdays, and 6:00 AM til 3:00 PM on Saturday. If you can't reach us during this time, you can request a callback so you won't have to wait on the line.
Please provide the investigation number INV-44024 to our representatives.
Also, here are some workarounds recommended by our engineers. First, ensure there are no special characters in the employee's name. You can also try re-sending the invitation to a different email address.
We ask for your patience while this is still being worked on. If you have other questions or concerns that needs immediate attention, please let me know in the comment below. I'll be more than happy to help. Have a nice day!
Hi ckaccounting,
You can have your employees sign up for Quickbooks Workforce. Before doing so, have them secure the Social Security number (SSN) and the net amount of the last paycheck issued by your company.
You can also follow the steps under How do I Sign Up For QuickBooks Workforce in this article: QuickBooks Workforce (formerly ViewMyPaycheck) FAQs.
Please let me know if you need more help with QuickBooks. Thanks.
Does the employer have to sign up for Workforce before employees can access and do you have to have a specific payroll service?
Hello Mathnasium,
Welcome to the Community. It would be my pleasure to answer any questions you may have about QuickBooks Workforce.
Employers will need to set up QuickBooks Workforce for the paycheck information to automatically upload to Intuit's servers. This feature is available to all QBO Payroll service and is already part of the payroll subscription cost.
For additional insight into QuickBooks Workforce, such as the basics, I'm adding an article that I recommend:
Set up online pay stub access for employees (QuickBooks Workforce, formerly ViewMyPaycheck).
Please be sure to let me know if you have further questions about using the feature formerly ViewMyPaycheck. I'll be more than happy to help out.
I tried to create an account to view my paychecks. I put in my social security number and amount of net pay of last paycheck but it kept saying that they did not find any paychecks with that social security number or paycheck amount. I spoke to my employers about the matter and according to them there isn't a problem on their end. Can you assist me with this issue?
Hello swill1,
Thank you for posting detailed information here in the Community. I'd be glad to assist you with your concern about activating the ViewMyPaycheck account.
Since you mentioned that you already reached out to your employer and confirmed there's no problem on their end, I recommend reaching out to our VMP Chat Support. One of them will be able to take over and determine why the signing up process isn't going through.

Helping you get your pay stub online is my priority. Let's get things sorted out.
There are times that the browser keeps either too many or outdated Internet files that may cause websites, like viewing paychecks online to act weirdly. To isolate this, let's try logging into your QuickBooks account using a private browser.
Here's how to open a private window in different browsers:
If you're able to log in and there no pay stubs showing, you may need to ask your employer if they uploaded the paychecks into QuickBooks Workforce.
To sign in to QuickBooks Workforce:

Hello, BJS12,
I can provide clarification for why you're getting an error when setting up for QuickBooks Workforce.
Our engineers are aware of the error "We can't get your info. Your employer isn't connected to QuickBooks payroll. Contact them to access your paycheck." and are diligently working to resolve this. In the meantime, I invite you to contact the Customer Care Support team, who can collect your information in a secure manner to receive email updates on this as soon as they become available.
You can expedite this process by referencing INV-30935 to the support agent, which is the ticket that engineers are using to track affected users with.

Hi there, @1-amp.
Activating the view my paycheck with QuickBooks Online (QBO) is a few steps to go. I’ll be glad to provide additional information on how it’s done.
If you're an employer and want to activate the view my paychecks feature for your employees, you must be the company's master administrator and send invites to them.
To send an invite:
The invitation will then be emailed to your employee. Once they accept the invite, you’ll see a message "Good news! Your employee is ready to view their pay stubs and W-2's online" in Personal info section.
On the other hand, if you're an employee and your employer have already sent the invite, ensure to accept the invite. You can now then create an account and sign in to your QuickBooks Workforce.
For further details, you can check these articles:
Let me know if you have any additional questions about activating view my paycheck feature and on the steps provided above. I'm always here to help.
