I’m here to help you update the company address on your employees’ paycheck stubs.
The address showing on the paycheck is pulled from the Work Location that's associated with the employee. Update the Work Location by following the steps below:
1. Go to the Gear icon and select Payroll Settings.
2. Choose Work Locations under Business Information.
3. Click on the address of the Work Location.
4. Update the address and click Save.
If you’re adding an address from a different state and wants to change it as the primary location, you need to contact Payroll Support to switch it for you.
They have the tools to pull up your account in a secure environment and help update the address, which we are unable to do in this public forum. For additional information, follow the steps below: How Do I Change My Primary State?.
To get our updated phone number, follow the steps below:
1. Go to this link https://payroll.intuit.com/support/contact/.
2. Select your Payroll Subscription.
3. Choose Payroll.
4. Click View Contact Info.

Can only the administrator change the primary address? I have all employees set to the correct work location, but the primary work address is still our old (2 years now) address and that is what is printing on paychecks/paystubs.

To answer your question, only the master admin, company admin, and standard users with full access can change the primary addresses of the employees in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Since all the employees are to the correct work location and the paychecks/paystubs are still showing the old one, I highly suggest reaching out to our Phone Support team. They are able to access your account using their screen-sharing (remote access) tool and further investigate. They can also perform some troubleshooting steps to fix this for you.

Your old address may still be set as the primary work location:
I do not have the option "Work Locations" now what do I do to change the company address on our w-2s and 1099s. The address is correct under "Gear" - and Business address in all places. Thanks!

Changing your primary work location on your Payroll account is our top priority.
In QuickBooks Online (QBO), we can only modify your primary work location by updating the work location address. However, changing the primary location is different, and we'll need help from our Payroll Support Team to get it done. But first, we can set up your new primary work location, so they can just select it when you contact them. To add a new work location, follow the steps below:
For changing your primary location to a new state, just follow the steps and details in Changing a primary state article.

Am I the only one not seeing "Work Locations" under Payroll Settings? This continues to get mentioned as the solution yet there is no such thing under the Payroll Settings page in QBO. What am I missing?
Also, this issue should not be this complicated to fix QB!

This is the reason why you can't see the Work location since QBO has already updated the Payroll Settings Page. If you're trying to update the employee's work location, follow these steps on how to change it:

This didn't work for me. I called the QB help and they weren't able to figure it out. It's been over a year now that I'm struggling to get the address change on the paystubs for employees.

They have the tools to pull up your account in a secure environment and be able to investigate why you can't get the address change on the paystubs. Hi. I've tried everything as well, and followed everything on this thread, and even though my work location is correct, it stills shows the old address in my employees paystub. Did you end up fixing the problem ?

In general, if you've already edited your work location to the same address that you want to show on your pay stub, the information on the pay stub should be the same as the details entered in the work location.
However, since it's still showing the incorrect address, I recommend reaching out to our support team so they can double-check this furthermore. They also have the tools to pull up your account securely. Here's how:

Since you've set up the location to the recent one and still get the same error message. Let me make it up to you by making sure this gets investigated further.

Hi, I read everything I still can't change the company address when doing QB Online payroll. The PDF it gives me to print pay stubs has our old address.Where do we change the company address for paystubs?
