I got you covered on aligning your paychecks correctly, @jjcuccia13.
Regular checks and paychecks have unique printing preferences. This is why they have different alignment processes.
If you have a QuickBooks Online Payroll Enhanced or Intuit Online Payroll subscription, we can follow these steps.
First, let's set up the printing preferences. Here's how:
- Click the Gear ⚙ icon, and then select Payroll Settings.
- In the Preferences section, choose Paycheck Printing.
- Pick Preprinted QuickBooks-compatible voucher check stock.
- Tap Print 1 stub or Print 2 stubs, and then hit OK.
Then, let's set up the check alignment. I'll guide you how:
- Choose Open Alignment Window, and then print the sample check.
- Follow the instructions, and then close the window.
- Pick Align Checks, and then print the PDF file.
- Follow the on-screen instructions, and then enter the letter and number that fits best.
- Tap Update Settings, and then click OK.
