In QuickBooks Online (QBO), you can add a Time Tracker Only user. This user type can only add their own timesheets. Here's how:
- Navigate to the Settings icon and select Manage Users.
- Click Add user and then choose Time tracking only.
- Select Next.
- Look for the employee or vendor you want to add, click Next, then input their contact info.
- When done, click Save.

If in case you'll need to change the Time Tracking Only user, you'll have to delete the user and add them back again with the new user type.
Also, to manage what your added users can and cannot do within your company file, you can restrict their access.
