Trying to renew from the desktop account, click the renew button on the home page in the employee section, takes me to desk top payroll sign in and asks for email and password, then to verify information and it gives two choice, myself and my wife, no matter which one I choose it asks for email and phone number then takes me back to the original sign in page and then back to the verify page and then says contact QuickBooks because the information does not match...but its correct. I have also tried to renew straight from the email announcing that payroll had been canceled and it just takes me to the camps log in and that doesn't give you the option of renewing either. I just want to renew the payroll subscription.

Once done, let's try to renew your payroll subscription again.
You can also renew your subscription by logging in to your QuickBooks My Account. Under Products & Services select the Payroll Subscription tile and click on Resubscribe.

Hello I am also having issues trying to renew the payroll subscription. I do not recall in the past being directed to this intuit login, I have a couple of QB logins/passwords so I tried those and it did not work. It also reverted my email to an old email account that we no longer have, so I am sure if I did a password reset it will send the reset to that old email. How can I update or reset the username and password?
When I go to: Company>My Company>Manage My Account, I see the incorrect email address but no option to edit it. It also has me listed with the correct email in another section.
Please help.

When updating or resetting a username and password in QuickBooks, you'll have to make sure that you sign in as the admin user. This is to make sure that you have the option to edit or the right to make any changes to log-in credentials.
I also suggest making sure that the billing details on the QuickBooks AM page are correct. In your second paragraph you mention making sure I am logging in as Admin to update the user name/password. See my screen capture attached. It shows I am logged in as Admin, and I also have my screen for managing my accounts. You can see the incorrect email address (which is what's defaulting as the username; weird hasn't been our email in over 7 years) It doesn't give an option to edit this email even logged in as Admin. This is frustrating. I have never had this run around to renew our subscription. As a matter of fact we were set up on auto renew and the card on file is not expired. So I don't understand why it did not renew.

I want to ensure this is taken care of since editing the email address to update or reset the username/password so you can renew your payroll subscription is not an option. As much as I would love to take care of this problem immediately, the Community doesn’t have access to tools to renew the subscription. Thus, I suggest reaching out to our Customer Care Team for assistance in updating the payment method. They can pull up your account in a secure environment and fix any issues related to your billing, as well as updating the email address.

My status shows active but I'm getting the message that my payroll must be renewed by 12-2-2021. I can't click on status to renew because it shows active

I'll share the steps on how to remove the error message. Let's re-validate your payroll subscription by following these steps.
After that, reboot your computer. Then, check if you still have the message.
Additionally, you'll want to configure your Windows firewall and security settings to ensure that your payroll update will go through without being blocked by your firewall.
