this would be great if they allowed you to change your number without the use of a disconnected or old number to verify. Obviously an oversight. Email should be an option.

It is a great idea to get the confirmation code through the email address linked to your Merchant account when changing your phone number. However, at this time, it'll only allow you to get the confirmation code via the previous phone number associated.
Just in case you need to change your phone number in your Merchant account, you can follow the detailed steps provided by my colleague above.

That doesn't work since confirmation code is sending to a phone number that doesn't exist anymore . finally and after hours at the phone and all types of agrevation a get a paper form from somebody in Merchant. Still in process and hopping this finally gets resolved. I will never use payments troutgh quickbooks again. Merchant and the payment team of quickbooks are bounch of useless individuals.

I am having the same problem. I have sent in the form to change my phone number multiple times and still, my phone number has not been changed. I have money stuck in quickbooks because I cannot change my phone number. I do not have access to the old phone number anymore. No solution has been provided from the support team. Do I need to make a complaint against Quickbooks?

I have followed the detail steps multiple times with no resolution. I have spent hours on the phone with merchant support and they are not able to help me with changing my phone number.

The phone number on file in the account profile is wrong it is not my number when I go to change the number to my real number that’s wrong number pops up and I cannot change it because I am trying to add my bank account information into the account profile so that I may receive money owed to me I’ve been trying to do this for a week or two now really need to get this done I need your help

Since you're unable to receive the code to update your phone number for your Merchant Services account, I'd recommend contacting our Merchant Services Team. They have the tools to pull up your account, securely, and help you update your phone number successfully.

I have called two times and still have yet to receive the form via email. This is very frustrating and causing extra build up of work due to the excessive delay. Mine is the same is a disconnected phone number and no way to receive a text or phone call. I am strongly considering another product all together. Nothing user friendly here.

Email the form as they say they will do. No problem taking all the fees out on time.
Has Quickbooks team figured out yet how to forward the confirmation code to an email address in order to updated account profile in merchant services????

As of now, the ability to forward the confirmation code to the registered email is still unavailable. I would feel the same, especially that the update process will take time for users.
It would be beneficial to have this feature in Merchant Services to streamline the process. Our engineers might consider bringing this feature over in the future.
As we assess this, I suggest sending feedback directly to our engineers. You can do it by accessing Merchant Services and clicking the Feedback option in the upper-right corner (see screenshot below).

Is there an update on this? I'm encountering the same issue. I have a deactivated phone number and deactivated bank account number under my profile that a payment was sent to. I have no way to update this information.

Please know that all suggestions are being considered by our product engineers based on the volume of requests and their influence on the user interface before they are implemented.

I've gone through the process to upload the request form. In the original instructions clearly said:
Use the Case ID listed above and your email address, along with the "pin" provided to you by the QuickBooks Payments expert to upload the following documents:
I did exactly that and received the following reply:
Please upload completed and whole Change Form with the entire email from top to bottom, including "Note: The signer of this request must correspond to the signer of the Merchant Application."
I did what was asked of me and now there's some additional detail that was specified in the original instructions. This is complete nonsense and a waist of my time.
This process needs to be fixed. I haven't been able to update my account information for 7 days now. Money in my merchant account was sent to a deactivated bank account, I was charged a returned fee and I still can't even update my information.

I have tried to change my phone number and when I do, it asks me for a confirmation code. Well, the number that you are sending the confirmation code to is a LANDLINE so I can't retrieve it. How can I change this?
