Add inventory option not showing up under products/services

There's no need to upgrade if you're using the Plus or Advanced version of QuickBooks Online (QBO). Simply follow the steps provided by my colleague above to add the inventory option in the Products and Services. However, if you're using Simple Start or Essentials, you might consider upgrading your QBO to activate this feature.
Go to the Gear icon at the top right to get to the Account and Settings.
Choose the Billing & Subscription menu at the left pane, then click Upgrade in the QuickBooks Online section.
Pick a plan you want and select Upgrade.
Verify the payment information, then hit Save to complete the process.
If you don't have the option given by my peer, JenoP, in the Plus version of QuickBooks Online (QBO), then I recommend reaching out to our Support Team. They have more tools to pull up your account information and will be able to look into this further.
Here's how to reach them:
Sign in to QBO.
From the Help menu, choose Contact us.
Enter your concern in the What can we help you with? field and select Let's talk.
Choose either Start messaging or Get a callback.
