I've ran the update several times but still cannot print on a 3-part form. What is the shared download option? If I leave it on "yes" or leave it on "no" it says there are no updates. Am I supposed to switch between "yes" and "no" each time I run the update? Apparently I need to continue running updates until I reach "_70" on my product information but I am only at "_40" after running updates over and over.
Thanks for joining this thread, SHebert.

Everyone that needs to print 1099-NEC is not using the payroll module. This is a disaster this late in the filing window. I suppose I am going to staples to buy a stand alone tax program to print 1099's. While I'm at it- I will start looking for something to replace quick books
Good luck! I tried and we even have the QB Priority Care Package.
Typical Intuit BS answer - they are trying so hard to get people to switch to monthly online subscription!
I am thinking we have a potential for class action status! We paid for something and then the seller does not hold up to its advertised product! What say everyone?

This is Bull $hit! Fix does not work, so here I am manually doing 1099's on Saturday 1/29/2022!
I am seriously going to check Oracle Net Suite and Sage. Intuit can kiss my A$$
I simply cannot believe that I am here on January 29th and unable to PRINT OUT 1099'S. According to prior messages on this board, all I needed to do was UPDATE my quickbooks. Hahahaha. Yeah. That didn't work. Now I read "process them by hand." Seriously? Process them by hand? You mean...write them out...and hope my dyslexic self doesn't transpose a Tax ID number or street address or TOTAL??? And this is gonna all balance in the end???And if it doesn't?? Is that what "process by hand means????????? And QB support only open M-F 6 am - 6 pm when YOU'VE KNOWN YOU HAVE HAD THIS PROBLEM FOR AT LEAST THREE WEEKS??? THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE.
This did not work. Nothing recommended on this thread has worked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have been using QB since the DOS version, approximately 30 years, & I am looking for a new accounting program. Intuit is the most disappointing company now. It was so much better when then actually cared about their customers! FYI.....your QBO is crap for accounting!
I have QuickBooks Desktop Pro us 2022 with ALL updates installed. Where is my option to print 3 on a page for the $300 worth of 1099 NEC forms I purchased?!?!?
I appreciate you joining in this thread, bdspoff29.
Since all the updates have been installed and you're still unable to print your forms 3 per page, I'd suggest getting in touch our QuickBooks Desktop Support to have this investigated.

I followed the instructions but nothing has changed! I went back and purchased 1099 Misc hoping I could tell it to print in box 7 as stated by the IRS...NO I can't and if I ask it to print in the 1099 format it gives me all zeros for any of the amounts! Tomorrow is the deadline and I'm not sure what we're going to do. This is unacceptable for the price we pay for the Quickbook Pro, very disappointing.
I know you've spent a lot of time trying to print your 1099 NEC forms in QuickBooks, BuilderJB.

None of your suggestions are working. I have done and checked everything and still have two to a page.
Exactly. Ridiculous!!
This did not work for me. QuickBooks used to make prepaing 1099's so simple. Now all they've done is complicate it.
We pay for QuickBooks, now we are going to have to pay an outside service to prepare 1099's. That's ridiculous.
There has got to be a simpler fix.
It is now January 2023 and this issue still is not fixed. I have obviously updated and downloaded everything I needed since these comments in 2022. Yet I still cannot print 1099-NEC forms correctly onto pre-printed forms. Any suggestions?
Thanks for becoming part of the Community and getting involved with this thread, rachela1. I'd be more than happy to guide you through the process of printing 1099s.
