Yes! QuickBooks Live Bookkeeping offers online bookkeeping services that connect small businesses with trusted, QuickBooks-certified virtual bookkeepers. Depending on the service you choose, a bookkeeper can give you guidance or take the lead on your bookkeeping.

Live Priority gives you priority access to specialized QuickBooks product experts who can help answer your questions and resolve your inquiries for customer support, product, and technical support. In addition, you will have access to onboarding and product coaching sessions with a product expert. These experts will not provide bookkeeping help and tax resource support.

Live Expert Assisted gives you access to bookkeepers who can answer your questions on a variety of bookkeeping subjects, and provide tax resource support to help you understand your books. With Live Expert Assisted, you’ll still be managing your own books.

With Live Expert Full-Service Bookkeeping, we pair you with a dedicated bookkeeper who will bring your books up to date and then manage your monthly books for you, so you can focus on your business. Full-Service Bookkeeping also gives you all the benefits included in Live Expert Assisted. 

The above services do not include tax preparation or filing services, which may be purchased separately with QuickBooks Live Expert Tax, powered by TurboTax.**

The product experts in Live Priority can answer QuickBooks product-related questions. Examples of those questions could be:

• How do I use a specific feature in QuickBooks?
• How do I create an invoice?
• How do I add a customer? 
• How do I connect my bank account? 
• How do I download a report?

The bookkeepers in Live Expert Assisted and Live Expert Full-Service Bookkeeping can also provide financial and business coaching, and answer questions on topics like categorization and automation, and guidance on report insights to manage and grow your business. Examples of those questions could be: 

• How do I categorize a transaction correctly to stay compliant?
• How do I reconcile my books for month and year end?
• How do I generate a financial report to understand how my business is doing?
• When is the business tax filing deadline for my business entity?
• How do I prepare a 1099 for my contractor?

For customer service, product, and technical support, Live Priority gives you access to a group of specialized product experts who have higher tenure and are available to assist with inquiries during regular and extended support hours.

For QuickBooks onboarding and product coaching and training, product experts offer hands-on one-on-one sessions on how to set up your QuickBooks account and use various features in QuickBooks.

With Live Expert Assisted, QuickBooks-certified bookkeepers are available to give you guidance and answer questions you have on bookkeeping topics like categorization, automation, reconciliation, reporting, and workflow management. In addition, they are available to coach you on common business, payroll, sales and 1099 tax topics like regulations, deadlines, deductions, and payments. You can request a callback anytime when you need a little extra help. 

Bookkeepers are available Monday-Friday 6AM - 6PM PT. Some bookkeeping services may not be included and will be determined by your bookkeeper. Your bookkeeper will provide help based on the information you provide. Live Expert Assisted bookkeepers will not work in your books, and cannot give tax advice specific to your business, or prepare or file taxes for you.

Live Expert Full-Service Bookkeeping includes two phases: cleanup and ongoing bookkeeping.

• In the cleanup/setup phase, your bookkeeper helps you set up your chart of accounts, connects your banks, and teaches you the basics of QuickBooks. If you have information in QuickBooks already, your bookkeeper will help clean it up in the first month of service.
• As part of ongoing bookkeeping, your bookkeeper categorizes your transactions and reconciles your accounts each month.
• Your bookkeeper can close your books and prepare a trial balance. They can also PDF copies of key financial reports including your profit and loss statement and balance sheet.

In addition, Live Expert Full-Service Bookkeeping gives you all the benefits included in Live Priority and Live Expert Assisted. These benefits include:

• Access to specialized product support in Live Priority, with extended support hours
• Access to tax resource support in Live Expert Assisted
• Full-Service bookkeepers cannot give tax advice specific to your business, or prepare or file taxes for you.

QuickBooks Live Expert Assisted and QuickBooks Live Expert Full-Service Bookkeeping give you access to bookkeepers, who are available to provide resource support so you can make smarter decisions with your books, business tax, payroll tax, sales tax and 1099 filings. Specifically, they can provide general information to common tax questions related to regulations, deadlines, deductions, business entity, business payment options, payroll tax filing, payroll tax requirements, 1099s, and sales tax. However, bookkeepers will not assist with any preparation of your federal and/or state tax returns and/or answer any tax preparation related questions to your specific business situation.

QuickBooks Live Expert Tax, powered by TurboTax, is comprised of: Full-Service Tax with access to a business tax expert who will do your taxes for you from start to finish; and Assisted Tax with access to tax experts who will help you do your own taxes and conduct a final review before you file. Both QuickBooks Live Expert Full-Service Tax and QuickBooks Live Expert Assisted Tax are “powered by TurboTax” tax preparation services and each require an active QuickBooks Online subscription. Full-Service Tax also provides an optional, one-time bookkeeping cleanup service for businesses provided by a QuickBooks bookkeeper.

Our bookkeepers will not be able to give you guidance on the following topics:

• Tax advice, tax preparation and tax compliance, including but not limited to compliance and filings for sales tax, state tax, local tax, and federal tax returns.
• Specialized accounting, including GAAP accounting, full accrual, multi-currency, foreign currency, and crypto currency.
• Business operations, including third-party app set-up and integration.
