Welcome back to the QuickBooks Community. I'll be sharing details to ensure you'll be able to update your credit card so you can renew your payroll subscription.

To start renewing your payroll account and change credit card information, you'll have to sign in to your QuickBooks Desktop. Then, make sure that you're one of the authorized users so you can perform the process seamlessly. Please follow the steps or details shared above to achieve this matter.

After updating billing info, you'll have to close and reopen your QuickBooks Dekstop program to ensure that the latest CC details show up in the system.

Then, I suggest updating your QuickBooks Desktop to the latest release so you always have the latest features and fixes. I also recommend the same thing for your payroll tax table. This way, you have the most current and accurate rates and calculations for supported state and federal tax tables, payroll tax forms, and e-file and payment options.

I'm here to lend a hand in updating your credit card information for online banking,

As mentioned by my colleague FritzF, you'll need to disconnect the old account and reconnect the replacement when online services are activated. Since there's no option to update it right away. 

To do this, here's how to disconnect:

1. Go to the Lists menu at the top.
2. Select Chart of Accounts. 
3. Locate the credit card account that needs to be activated, then right-click. 
4. Choose Edit Account. 
5. Go to the Bank Feeds Settings tab
6. Choose Deactivate all online services. 
7. Click OK and Save.

Once done, reconnect the credit card account using the replacement card.

1. Go to the Banking menu at the top.
2. Select Bank Feeds.
3. Choose Set Up Bank Feeds for an Account. 
4. Type the name of your Financial Institution (FI) in the Enter your Bank’s name field.
5. Choose which FI to add to QuickBooks in the Link your Accounts screen.

If you want to change the billing information with the new credit card details, follow the steps below.

Here's how:

1. Login to camps.intuit.com. Or learn more about signing in.
2. Find your app or subscription in the Products & Services list.
3. Click Details.
4. From the Billing Information section, look for Payment Method, then choose Edit.
5. Update your information.
6. Hit Save and Close.

Or, if you want to change the online banking information, you can disconnect and reconnect with the new credit card account.

Follow these:

1. Go to Lists, then choose Chart of Accounts. 
2. Find the connected credit card account, then right-click on it.
3. Select Edit account.
4. In the Edit Account window, click the Bank Feed Settings tab.
5. Tick Deactivate All Online Services. 
6. Hit Save & Close. 

Next, reconnect the account with the correct credit card number: 

1. Go to Banking.
2. Choose Bank Feeds.
3. Click Set Up Bank Feeds for an Account.
4. Follow the on-screen prompts to connect the credit card account again.

The question is for updating my quickbooks payment account changing and updating credit card information, I'm not asking about customer accounts.
