How can I acquire my Validation Code to register my Quickbooks Pro Desktop 2013?
Since the COVID-19 there doesn't seem to be anyone available by phone and the cat option is not available for me. Is there another way?

I just moved all my work over to a new computer. Installed QB 2013 that I purchased from a local retailer, entered the license number and product code, and then I called the 1-800 number to get the validation code. None of my current email addresses nor my 10 year old phone number match what Intuit has on file. The CS agent just keeps repeating that I have to give her the correct email, which I don't seem to have (over and over). I ask for a supervisor, she says there are none available. I offered to send her a picture of my disc and the license number with the hologram, she doesn't care and in the end just hung up on me!
I own a licensed copy of QB 2013 and Intuit refuses to let me use MY software. Other than breaking up a monopolist anti-competitive company does anyone know how to find this validation code so I can use my software and go back to work?
Hello there, @WhatAPain1.
Let me share these insights about your concern in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). QuickBooks Desktop 2013 version is no longer supported and can no longer be updated.
I suggest reaching our customer support team again. If this is the first time you've installed a QBDT product or you don’t have the previous version. This way, they can check if they can generate a validation code for 2013.
If it's not your first time installing QBDT, then you'll have to provide the email address you used to register the program.
In case you can't access the Help menu, you can try pressing F1 to pull up the Have a question? window. Also, you can go to this page to contact us if the Help menu or F1 doesn't work:
Keep in touch if you need any more assistance with this, or there's something else I can do for you. I've got your back. Stay safe always.
You have to call and contact Support to ask the code. If they didn't acknowledge your ownership, consider buying a new license of QB 2020. For Pro 1 user with a one time license, you may purchase it for less than $200.
I'd be glad to know the help that you need, @7862809159.
Any details can help me gather the best resolution that fits your concern. Meanwhile, you can post your question or issue here in the Community so experts and other users like you will be able to give their valuable inputs.

Thanks for joining the conversation, @scottysh. It's my priority that you're able to merge the information from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online.
To get started, let’s run the Verify and Rebuild Data Utility Tool before you convert your QBDT file to resolve any data integrity issues. Always create a backup to avoid any accidental data loss before performing the following steps.
For more details about the process, please see this article: Verify and Rebuild Data in QuickBooks Desktop.
Once done, import your QBDT company file to QBO again. Follow the steps below:
You can refer to this article for the step-by-step guide: Move your QuickBooks Desktop file to QuickBooks Online.
Also, there are things you need to expect when you migrate from QBDT to QBO. To know more about how your books convert (i.e., Chart of Accounts, documents, and invoices), you can refer to this article: What to expect when you switch from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online.
If the steps above don't work you can directly contact our Customer Support Team. Just follow the steps shared by my colleague above, or click this link to contact them outside QuickBooks: Contact Support.
