This message occurs if you haven't used the license number to register the QuickBooks Desktop you're using. In line with the QuickBooks Discontinuation Policy, 2017 and older versions can no longer access add-on services and other online services integrated with QuickBooks.
For us to reactivate your QuickBooks 2014, we'll need a validation code. This can only be generated using a special tool which our technical supports have accesses. You can reach them through this link: Contact QuickBooks Desktop support.

I have installed quickbooks desktop on a new computer, it forced me to register on opening it for the first time, I entered all the information with no problem , when I got to the required field to enter my company's email address it would not let me enter anything??

If you already have all the requirements, you need to make sure QuickBooks Desktop is also updated to its latest release.
After updating QuickBooks, restart your computer. Then, open QuickBooks and enter all the important information.

I am trying to activate QuickBooks pro desktop. After paying 199.00 over the phone (after a 3 hour hold ), I never got an activation code. When I try to sign in to my intuit account and begin a chat with intuit, no chat opens.
My credit card information is current in my intuit account.
At this point, all my data from my 12 year old company is not accessible. I am desperate and there is no one to help at intuit. I don't know what else to do

Did you just purchase a one time license of QB Desktop 2021 Pro for 1 user or else?

Any specific issue? You have to contact Support to get the activation/validation code.
There's no direct phone number to call only through chat.
They don't offer any numbers to call. If you purchased the new license thru a partner/reseller, they may help you to get the validation/activation code. That's what we do to our clients.
NOT TRUE, I HAVE BEEN CALLING THEM FOR THREE DAYS AND CANNOT GET A REACTIVATION. ITS A SCAM TO MAKE YOU BUY THEIR NEW VERSION> I ONLY USE OFFLINE AND FOR CHECKING ITS A HOAX THEY CANT DO IT. EVEN AFTER I WAS TRANSFERRED TO A SUPERVISOR THEY SAID CANT FIND MY ACCOUNT< BUT SHE MISTAKENLY GAVE ME THE REGISTRATION DATE. With QuickBooks discontinuation plan for older versions (i.e., 2005), you're unable to self-register or activate the product you currently have. You'll need to contact our Customer Care (Registration) team. They can provide the validation code you need and guide you with the activation process. Here's how:

Your version is too old and I'm not sure they will generate a validation code for versions older than 2010. They don't provide installer files for QBD 2009 or earlier versions on their website.

Consider to purchase the one time license for QBD 2020 or 2021 to upgrade your version.
I just purchased the DT Pro 2021 version and downloaded/installed the latest version. When I opened QB, it asked for activiation. Click the activation link but only lead me to a web page stating that "Chat is unavailable at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience, please note you can find other contact options at intuit.com/support." This is Sunday morning (12/11/2022) but isn't QB supposed to make this fully automated? What is going on!!!
